Talking about Pitching. Didn't talk much about the hitting system. Talked about the Bunting System being revamped. Talked a little about MLB Today Season Mode. Talked about the revamping of Online, which he now claims is Lag-Free.

No new gameplay footage

Yeah, it would have been nice if some new gameplay would have been a part of this interview

2k10`s first gameplay video release at 2/19, 2k11 in 2/23. If we get something by now it would be a miracle....

I really like the mlb today season mode option, I dont have cable so I cant watch the yankees and this way I can actually play out the season.

Same footage though, cant wait to see some new gameplay.

MLB today season mode is shaping up to be what I had hoped for!

Did not see one example of the new bunting system, pitching sounds good... Not buying until all the bugs are worked out, hope it doesn't take 2 months into the season like last year... Personally, I could care less about the season mode thing, I mean it does this for one season, shoulda done work in other areas IMO

In the one mode he says when you play that day and if you lose, that's it you can't go back and that game over, that's it. Then he says in the very next comment that for the casual players, you can go and turn this feature off. What am I missing here? You say once that, that game is over you can't go back and play but you can turn this feature off. I don't know, I don't get it.

I was wondering if anyone knows if in the game if we would be able to use button pressing for hitting and pitching like in MLB 2k8 or older. If it is I might get both baseball games.

Actually, I thought that was a nice interview

What's not to get? If you don't want games to be one and done, then you can turn that option off. The only time it can't be turned off is in the playoffs.

I hope they do that MLB Today season mode on 2K basketball. I was really hoping for that ever since they started this MLB/NBA Today thing.

I'm liking MLB Today Season Mode. Will there still be an MLB Today only option, where you can go in and play of the games on the schedule?

Yes, there are "classic" button controls for pitching/hitting/fielding.

I think he said something that sounded like pitchers will have 5 pitch types. I know there is a new pitching system, but I hope they don't give pitchers 5 pitch types just to satisfy their new pitching system when they don't have that many in real life.

Well since the release dates of the other game play videos for 2k10 and 2k11 were between February 19 - February 23 I can now relax. Because I thought there were not going to be any game play videos but now that I know that there will be videos coming soon I would hope since it is only February 14 so no need to worry anymore, at least for me.

My first baseball game (also the reason I don't complain about 2K12 graphics).
