Actually it's $10 difference.

The regular version is $59.99, and the Master's Collector's edition is $69.99.

The Collector's edition is a good deal IMO. You don't have to worry about getting those courses when EA makes adds a plethora of DLC courses like they usually do.

They had me at Valhalla. Been waiting for that one.

It's also worth noting Rory McIlroy and Luke Donald are both returning to the game. They aren't new to the series, but they weren't in last year's game. Those two are two of the best in the game for sure! As an Oklahoma State fan, having Fowler and now Mahan makes it tough to pass on. And the new courses are very good additions. I'll probably just spend the extra $10 to get the 5 additional courses and the green jacket ceremony. ;-)

Agreed. I'm pretty excited about Valhalla. I wasn't really planning on getting this game, but that course definitely will make me consider it. I love that course. It's a really fun course to play.

I voted against buying the game this year in the poll, but now i'll be buying it. Also, i look like Ben Crane, so that's another reason i'll be making the purchase.

When they say 5 new courses does that mean they are replacing 5 courses from last year or they are increasing the DLC and all of last year's courses are still available?

Agreed, hate to see that one go. Wish they would can all of those ridiculous fantasy courses and replace them with actual GOLF courses....but you would be shocked at how many of the casual/arcade users beg for and buy those courses....

This is as impressive a course list as I've ever seen in the series! I've longed for The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island for years, and I certainly wasn't expecting Royal Birkdale, which I loved on the earlier PS2 versions. All of the new courses are way up on my chart!! I'm just pleasantly tickled that they aren't forcing fantasy courses down our throats in the regular or Collector's Edition!

I wish they would add a course editor and 3D. The course editor would extend the life of the game.

Not going to happen anytime soon unless there is official support of a keyboard/mouse for PS3/360 and all 360's come standard with hard drives. If and when that day comes, then EA might consider it. But the consoles are not PC's and while course architects were great for PC's, I just don't think there is a very big market for a course architect on console. Heck, the numbers of PC Golf course architect users has stagnated and actually declined and their numbers were in the very low fractions of the actual userbase of those Golf games....

And you won't see 3D for Tiger until new consoles come out that have enough VRAM and GPU power to do 3D at 1080p @ 60 fps...

I played Valhalla back in 1996 two weeks before the PGA Championship, the course was immaculate and it totally kicked my ***.

I haven't been following the PGA as closely as I'd like, are there any other glaring omissions from TW13 besides the courses that won't be back?

That's what I'm asking.....what (if any) noteworthy players and courses won't be included in the upcoming title?

Very happy about the course selection this year not that it would matter because I get the DLC every year, I feel I always get my $$ worth.

Off the topic and didn't want to start a new thread but has there been any info on True-Aim or getting rid of the Caddie so we can use our own club selection without being told what we need to use?

No word on TruAim yet, but the Caddy is definitely user selectable on and off and by OFF no sign of the caddy nor his recommendations from what I have seen so far.

Good looking course list! I'll have to look thru more articles to see if this game is enough of a progression for me to score it this year. I still play 12 and like it and have all the courses, and I don't do Kinect.
