NBA 2K12 News Post

The NBA introduced the 3-point line back in 1979, adding a new level to the game. The NBA 2K series has seen its fair share of great 3-point shooters, with some still being in the series today. The following list below has some of the best marksmen in NBA 2K12. And although a few might be missing, we think the players on this list are well-deserving.

If we're including guys from the "classic" rosters, Chris Mullin is absolute money from 3-pt. land in this game.

I'm surprised Curry didn't get a mention, and I also would've put Jason Richardson on my list, as I always seem to have success with him.

yea curry just set a high screen and hit the 3 nobody has his combination of dribbling sod 3pt and sit

Definitely Stephen Curry!! I haven't used some of the other guys on the list yet but with Andres Nocioni, if you don't know how to shoot with these guys, it's irrelevant!

Steph Curry by far is the most consistent three point shooter in 2k12. I agree with Jerz. How is he not near top of list. I am Celtics fan and hit more consistently with him than Ray.

In 2k12 any player with a 80+ trey ball are pretty much auto..there's no difference from a 90 & 80 3+ point rating...

Rashard Lewis can still knock 'em down as well. When running my Magic association, I always try to pick him up again.

Funny how 2K thinks of the JJ Redick in college and not JJ Redick in the NBA. The guy is far from one dimensional anymore

I've been jackin' a lot of 3's with Jarrett Jack.

In 2k11 i have a association with the kings and Marcus Thornton is money not only spot up but with off the dribble threes too. He ussually scores more for me than Evans which is suprising.

Reddick is even the best 3pt shooter on his team. I hit more with Ryan Anderson than Reddick or J Rich.

Because I mostly play online with the magic I would have to say half their team lol. I can constantly hit 3s with reddick, nelson, turk, jrich, anderson, and even qrich and duhon. All of them have a 3pt rating over 80 iirc

As for why I didn't include Stephen Curry, it's simple, in my play time with him I didn't hit as many 3-pointers as I did with the names on this list. That doesn't mean he can't shoot well behind the 3-point line.

I could have made this list incredibly long, but I decided against that. As mentioned in the final sentence of this article, there are plenty of great 3-point shooters in NBA 2K12. I posted which ones I had the most success with.

Keith Bogans & Kevin Martin. Can drain 3s all day with them.

Wow, nice list; but let's not forget about Jamal Crawford; he is instant offense, and can and does drain 3's "On Call". Don't sleep on those Blazers!
cheers
