Umm Darius and Goud have gaunrteed contracts and just because you were sent to the d league doesn't mean you're cut from the team Lakers own his rights still. I bet both will make the team and Morris will play on Monday night
What are you talking about? Morris and Goudelock were 2nd-round picks, so their contracts are not guaranteed. Only 1st-round picks have guaranteed contracts, 2nd-rounders have to fight to make the team. You're correct when you said that just because a player gets sent to the D-League doesn't mean they didn't make the team, but you're wrong in saying that they have guaranteed contracts. Either one of them could be cut without any financial repercussions for the Lakers, though I think Morris is pretty much a lock to stay on the roster, what with below average and aging PGs in Fisher and Blake and Morris' high ceiling and cheap salary.
