THQ and UFC Undisputed 3 Simulate UFC 140 - Jones vs. Machida

In a video preview for this weekend’s hotly anticipated UFC 140, THQ and UFC Undisputed 3 have ran 25 AI simulations of the World Light Heavyweight Championship between the great Lyota ‘The Dragon’ Machida and the 24 year old phenom Jon ‘Bones’ Jones—with Jones retaining his belt 72% of the time.

Some interesting facts from the simulation:
  • Jones landed 42% more strikes than Machida
  • Machida only recorded a single knockout over the 25 matches
  • Of Jone’s wins, just one was by submission
Be sure to check out the simulation for even more facts and statistics from the 25 matches, and make sure to tune in to UFC 140 this Saturday, live from Toronto, Canada. Look for UFC Undisputed 3 to throw a few spinning elbows as it barrels into stores February 14 on Xbox 360 and PS3.

I hope they slow down the speed of reversals on the ground. Seems too fast to me.

I'm not a huge UFC guy but from a graphics standpoint this may be the best looking sports game on the market from a year to year basis.

I agree with the reversals on the ground, that is way to fast for my liking. I also love the graphics. The game looks pretty good.

I hate that advertisement for that vampire movie....it just keeps repeating and i can't watch the actual video....
