Walmart DOES have preorder special for The Rock. All you guys have to do is check online at all of the stores you guys have questions about. It's actually quicker to look online than to ask questions in here (and of course get wrong answers)

I believe you can pick it up in-store. I have ordered from Walmart in the past and they notoriously give you a different date than the launch date, BUT I have always received the package on the launch date. I don't know why they do that. I ordered from Best Buy in-store pickup (had zone points). DLC/$10 off coupon, etc. included.
Since everyone else is talking about this, if I pre-order from Gamestop and did an in store pickup, can I pick it up anytime on Tuesday?

Thanks for all the impressions. Especially jrider, tons of work done for all of us readers.
I am torn on what I want to do with Universe mode and this will be my first Smackdown game since SvR 06. I am debating between bringing back Nitro and putting former WCW wrestlers on it with a bunch of CAWs and just going nuts that way or running a mirror of the WWE today.
Would it be possible to have Nitro and Raw going head to head together? Could you even put Nitro on another night so not to mess with the calendar?

BTW, is anybody else being asked to sign into some site called pwtorch.com? It keeps popping up when I refresh the page.
Did anyone else go to Best Buy today? I played for about 30 minutes, completing three matches. I haven't played the series since SVR09, so I was somewhat lost with the controls. But, I must admit the game made a very good first impression.
It really pops visually and looks like a TV broadcast. The wrestlers are large, look great, and seem more life-like. I think the more dynamic cameras enhance the visual appeal. There were a few less than ideal angles, but they add far more than they subtract. I can't say much about the sound since I was in a busy store, but aside from the commentary, the mix at least seemed good. At least I could clearly hear Daniel Bryan's entrance pop; I remember that being a problem when I abandoned the series.
As for gameplay, I liked my first taste and I was only scratching the surface due to my limited knowledge of the controls. What impressesd me was how different Ziggler/Bryan felt from Swagger/Santino. Bryan have me a hell of a match, quick pace & lots of reversals. He won because I had no idea how to do the submissions (button mash I later saw) or kickout. I played the other match twice and beat Santino relatively easily both times, including a nice finish in which I hit the clothesline in the corner, reverse splash, signature, and gutwrench powerbomb super finisher after a wakeup taunt. I'm not sure what difficult it was on, but I assume everything was at default.
Overall, it felt less clunky (at least in regular 1v1 matches) and does not strike me as a spamfest. I think it could be great against another person (or people), hopefully online is stable. Finally, I watched many gameplay videos and they don't do the game justice... It looks damn good in person.

Yes, you could have a Raw show on Mondays and Nitro show full of old WCW guys and CAWs on Fridays.

What are the abilities for wrestlers? And how many can you assign to a CAW? And by ability I mean pressing LB to escape the ring, comebacks, etc.

You can assign a superstar (or your CAW) up to five abilities.
I know it's been stated but I would really like to make two brands. WCW and WWE. My question is can I make wrestlers from each show up at the others show. Almost like an invading storyline?

Yes, you can edit the matches on a given card to include guys from both brands.

For those wondering about Abilities, here they are:
Dirty Pin -- Place your feet on the ropes during a pin
Move Thief -- Steal your opponents finisher
Hammer Throw -- Powerful version of the Irish whip
Resiliency -- Increases the size of the target zone during kickouts
Comeback -- Perform a dramatic comeback after getting injured
Outside Dives -- Perform dive attacks on an opponent outside of the ring
Springboad Dives -- Spring off the ropes for an attack
Leverage Pin -- Reverse attacks into pinning moves
Ring Escape -- Roll out of the ring when grounded near the ropes
