Mine was freezing before even getting to start a game. Would always freeze in the arena. Had to delete the patch and all is well again.

Having weird crashes since the FIFA 12 patch? It's likely caused by old Creation Centre data. Simple fix right here: http://forum.ea.com/uk/posts/list/1167592.page
This fix worked for me in regards to freezing while downloading the latest squads.

Fouls are still the same.

•You will now be able to change your penalty kick taker via Team Management between the penalty kick being awarded and taken.
•Clubs players’ accomplishments are now fully tracked in online matches.
•We asked you, and you told us. Community feedback overwhelmingly suggests that the default AI in Clubs is too powerful, leading to clubs choosing not to field defenders in order to allow the AI to do their work for them. We have therefore dropped the AI difficulty level in Clubs from World Class to Professional, and have made some complimentary minor adjustments to AI goalkeepers.

Now, whether or not it works, is another story. I haven't had the chance to try it yet in a pro ranked match.

That's great if your playing clubs, but what if you only play pro ranked matches with your virtual pro. Hopefully it is indeed fixed, though.

I haven't played much since the patch, maybe 10 games or so in career mode. But it feels easier. I moved my lowly npower2 dagenham team to premier league and opened my first season there with 1 win, 2 draws, 5 losses before the patch. I'm undefeated since the patch and sitting at #7. I barely made pl by scraping by in npower champ playoffs, so I wasn't surprised at my pre patch record.

Career Mode
  • Physical attributes of players were growing a little unrealistically since they were tied to their overall growth potential. We have made a change that separates the growth of these attributes from others, resulting in much more steady progression.
  • You can now offer a new contract to players you have loaned out for the last year of their contract, before they run off and become free agents.
  • Loaned players weren’t always growing fast enough. We have tuned this to be more noticeable, making loaning players out much more rewarding.
These were my biggest annoyances in CM, so I'm very happy

Has anyone noticed if loaned progression is there as they say? And is it significant?

I think it's just coincidence. My team is in something of a slide since the patch, and I haven't gotten any worse at the game.

I'm thinking a couple of simmed seasons is in order tonight to run the patch through it's paces, I'll update this thread for what I find.

Anyone have team suggestions? I play as Arsenal but always sim as another team. Let me know if you want to know about a team or player (I'll put young guys out on loan).

I agree with any thought that the game is a bit easier after the patch. It seems that the AI defense is much more passive on WC.

Prior to the patch I finally found a combo of sliders where the game felt right and I even had 2 straight games where the CPU committed 7 fouls! It was very difficult to score but not impossible.

Since the patch, there's seems to be a lot more space even though I lowered the Height and Length sliders to below 30. I struggled to score goals prior to the patch. First game after the patch in my Arsenal career mode I beat ManU 5-2. Played a game in my Valencia CM and tied Granada 3-3. There is no doubt in my mind that something was done to the CPU aggressiveness. Maybe not intentionally, but the game does play differently.

Two bugs since the patch. First, I'm seeing crashes and no, I do not have the UGC file to delete.

Second, in two of the three career mode games I've played since the patch, I've had no option for highlights at the end of the match. Plus the highlights haven't automatically run at the end of the matches like they did prior to the patch.

Did they fix the helicopter spin collission problem with defenders and your own players?

GETTING OLD!

I am confused is this patch worth downloading. I do not feel like wasting my Saturday by lugging my xbox to my friends house to download it.

Here are the results for an Aston Villa simmed season for loaned players:

Season 1

Out for Loan:

Gardner 64
Weimann 67
Clark 75
Albrighton 75
Delph 73
Bannan 73
Delfouneso 73

End of Season:

Gardner 65 (+1)
Weimann 67 (0)
Clark 77 (+2)
Albrighton 76 (+1)
Delph 74 (+1)
Bannan 74 (+1)
Delfouneso 74 (+1)

I'd say that's pretty conclusive that loans are working for player growth. Let me know if people want more info, but I'm pleased. Not sure there is a need to do another season, but I might later this weekend.

Still kinda weak I was getting similar progression pre patch. This is more consistent among all loaned players. Was hoping to see some players with higher growth.

# 38 Inverarity @ 11/12/11 10:46 PM
For what it's worth, I haven't had any crashes today, nor have I seen the odd issue of "no replays available" other than that one time. I played 6 matches today in my career mode.

Hey NaturalSelected, i've got the same progress pre patch.

I'm playing as Sporting CP, and i've noticed that youth players get up to 3 OVR points at the end of the season even if they don't go to the pitch. I found a CB (Simone Benedetti) that got OVR +20 in 7 years (he's OVR 85 right now, i'm in 2017 and bought him last season, when he was an OVR 84 player).

I don't have the patch yet, but, if someone could help me, it would be great. I'm having a problem during player vs. cpu games. During exhibiton matches, if the cpu team make a sub, the game freezes during the cutscene. Could anyone helpe me?

Thanks guys!

So much for the game being easier since patch. I must have been riding a mid season high with so many players in great form.
