Wow. So no Randy Couture. I like the additions of Browne and Rothwell though.

Randy is under contract with EA and their MMA game.

There may be a possibility that Couture is DLC.

The development team has said that DLC content is going to be more of a focus with UFC 3

He can't be DLC either because he is still under contract with EA amd their MMA series. And EA MMA 2 is coming out next year as well.

Randy's contract is up with EA. He actually was negotiating with THQ. He may be DLC.

Well I hope THQ has deep pockets, EA had to pay him a hell of a lot of money to use his likeness.

I SERIOUSLY doubt EA MMA 2 will ever come out. Strikeforce is not owned by Zuffa and all Strikeforce now have Zuffa contracts that restrict them from signing video game deals. The biggest fighters out there now are Fedor, Alvarez, Lombard and Aoki and none of them can sell a mma game anymore.

They will probably just use Bellator Fighters in their game I guess.

Sigh Mcork in and not Meathead, Mark Hunt

No way EA does that. That would mean losing a ton of money. The biggest number Bellator's ever done is 269k viewers. With EA MMA, EA at least had fighters like Couture, Diaz, Shields, Fedor, Overeem and Werdum who were at least somewhat well known by casual fighters.

Definitely.
We will just have to deal with THQ and hope they improve it.

But if you count the players there should be 150 fighters in the game, 21-22 per weight class. Right now light heavy, heavy and lightweight has 19, 16 and 16 fighters revealed. This would mean that there would be 25 fighters per remaining weight classes.
You aren't counting the Pride fighters who will be announced last. Also THQ is counting duplicate fighters as individual fighters. So LHW Anderson Silva and MW Anderson Silva are counted as two fighters.

No Nate or Joe Lauzon at their weight classes - but at HW the all great 1-2 in the UFC, Sean McCorkle.

Really...?
Nate is in the game as a WW.

That is a complete load of ****
They should have every fighter, (or the majority of them) on the game.

Completely agree. Its really only 110-120 fighters not 150.
