Forza Motorsport 4 News Post

If you want to make an argument that sports games should be released biannually, look to Turn 10 Studios' Forza Motorsport franchise.

Since Forza Motorsport debuted on Xbox in 2005, the Forza series has steadily released a new entry every two years, with each title easily lapping the last.

In terms of innovation, Forza 3 has a reputation for being the franchise's smallest advancement to date. But after spending 15 hours with Forza 4, I feel confident saying that, if Forza 3 had some gamers feeling like the series was starting to spin its wheels, Forza 4 will convince car fans that Turn 10 Studios are one of the top developers in the sports industry.

Is Forza really a sports game? it doesnt include a majority of the rules that govern normal car racing or any competition licenses. If Forza is a sports game because it involves car racing shouldn't tekken be considered a sports game becausing it involves fighting (UFC)? I think there might have already been an article that raised this question. I personally would classify F1 2011 as a hybrid racing/sports game, but Forza is just a racing game to me. On a lighter note it is good to see the OS team giving this game their thorough approach and the game is topclass.

Well written, Thx.
Tekken does not attempt to simulate a real world sport like competitive driving. UFC is a real world sport. Tekken is fantasy fighting game which I assume is like SF2. Forza is a recreation of real world cars and courses. That, in my opinion makes it belong here.
