I didn't think the option D bug was an issue until I transitioned to a I and Wishbone option offense, now it is a huge issue. I don't want to take a dive when I see this, but it also feels dumb running in for a TD a ton of plays because of that. Usually I cut back in to traffic so the rest of the D has a chance to tackle me. I really hope it gets fixed, but I have a feeling this patch and maybe a tuner set will be it.
I know what you mean, I feel dirty now when I run the option and see the defender just standing there. That's why I've stopped running the option which sucks because that is a major part of college football.

Yeah, I normally ran some form of spread option in all of my offenses. Now I moved to a more power run game in the I and Wishbone in one, running some option but not as much. In the other dynasty, I decided to go the opposite way and run air raid.
If the constant freezes don't get addressed at some point soon, I'm not sure how much time I really want to spend with this game. Ever since the last patch, I have had at least a dozen freezes, most in game, immediately after breaking the huddle. A few others were just in the menus.
A couple of the game freezes were online dynasty user vs user games, a few others were online dynasty cpu games. I just don't get it. I never once had a freeze until the most recent patch.
I started to think it was my disc, but it is not scratched whatsoever. This is starting to get really frustrating.
EDIT: Immediately after posting this and restarting a game that had frozen against a user, the game froze again, this time when it showed the stadium right after beginning a game. The PS button works, audio works, but the visual was locked in place.
The disaster that was NCAA caused me to not buy Madden.
I'm glad they are fixing the No Huddle issue that THEY introduced (don't they test this stuff....oh wait), but there is a HELL of a lot more stuff wrong with this game than just the No Huddle....
- Player tendencies changing on new recruits
- Custom playbooks are STILL broken
- Option Defense...or rather lack of it
- Still have numerous game freezes
- Zone defense was nerfed in the last patch...WTF EA???

**** EA sports. 989 studios were the bomb at making sports games.
Because its already October, would you rather them spend even more time concerning themselves with a game that will never be better than mediocre or now shifting their focus to next years game and making sure those issues don't repeat themselves in next years game.
If they're just gonna give up, they should publicly come out and say that NCAA 12 was a poor effort/broken product/whatever. I still think they should no matter what.

989's MLB games for the Playstation were the best
Spent a boatload of time with those.

Yes, I would. Why would I spend $60 on next year's game if they can't be bothered to fix these problems this year via patch? This is not a SNES game. These issues are FIXABLE now...all it takes is a little effort on EA's part to make a patch.
While we the people respect your opinion of liking the game, its it still that...your opinion. This being after all an opinion forum, other people have the right to state what they want. The rule is though not to attack other posters.
Do you remember when games didn't have updates? When we were happy with the same running animations over and over again?
Well those days are over...I added question marks to your rhetorical questions, just to let you know.
On another note where the hell are the tuners that these devs promised us? Not cool at all. I think proper tuners can fix a lot of the problems that have existed since launch. It feels wierd even saying that...since launch. Unbelievable.
I disagree with those who claim the game is unplayable, but for those claiming that game is just fine as it is I have to disagree with you as well.
