Wow people really need to lighten up around here. No one is forcing you to buy DLC, so if you don't like it then there's only one way to speak and that's with your wallet either by not buying the DLC or not buying the game at all. I've spoken with my wallet on a few other games that I don't like and it feels great.

The sense of entitlement I see from some is upsetting. 2K never promised legends online, so this would be a nice bonus, nothing more nothing less.

Seriously, no need for all caps. Learn sentence structure and paragraphs, please. Your point might be good and valid, but I can't follow it.

A lot of companies haven't adjusted to the "age of leaking", so they fail at this. It truly would be better if they got out ahead of the leaks with all the info, but they seem to think digging their head into the sand is a good strategy.

Now if 2K can get other legends like Barkley, and Miller, to agree to be in the game they have an idea how many customers may be willing to pay $5 for these players, or better yet for teams. I would pay $10 to play with the 98 Pacers or the 93 Suns...this could be huge.

Are you kidding me?! Who isn't drooling for these matchups online in those arenas!
Cmon Man! Get it right!

2k family, there you have it. i got nothing else left to say now, so kudos to your next move!

Going to be very annoyed if there isn't basic 5 on 5 as part of this DLC

Noone has said anything about having to pay for it. It just says it's downloadable.

Although it would suck to have to pay for that content, people should be overly upset about it. Other publishers and game developers make players pay for content that should be shipped with the game all the time. EA and Capcom have both done this with recent titles. ****, Capcom is making people pay $40.00 for a title that should have been DLC (new Dead Rising title).

Yeah, but since we don't know if we have to pay or not there's no reason to be upset. Let's wait until the game is released first so we know for sure if it costs money or is free.

Supposing that we would have to pay, "I" would gladly do it ... at a reasonable price tho ... and I have been jobless for 2+ years.

People want 2k to adapt to modern standards in other areas but not in this one ... paid dlc is a modern standard for succesfull games ... and one that, if done right, could set 2k in a better financial position.

Given 2ks tendency for putting extra efforts for going all in, on the 1 year cycles, it could only benefit us a lot that they could be in a better financial position.

I'm not bashing 2K for having paid DLC in the game, but I'm sensing a double standard here. Were it any other unpopular game company, people would be crying foul and calling said company greedy, but because it's 2K, people are applauding the move.

I might even end up purchasing this DLC if the feedback is good enough, but I don't think we should get carried away with the hype and praise. 2K is a business first and foremost, so they will eventually begin to charge us whatever they think the market is willing to pay, and rightfully so, from a business standpoint. We're the market, so excessive praise is counterproductive.

Im just one consumer...but I never mind paying for DLC if its worth it. At the end of the day, I reserve the right not to buy it. Its the kind of market we are in now. Its not going anywhere no matter how hard we kick or scream.

Now I do get annoyed when crappy games charge for DLC....Mass Effect, 2k, Street Fighter ill gladly cough up dough....but when I see games that are half a*** like Madden, SVR2011 nickel and diming, I refuse to pay. Thats my choice...2k has earned enough respect from me to trust them in this situation (if we do have to pay)...thats not being a fanboy, (not that you said that) its being a satisfied customer.

LOL I doubt if you would have to pay for it they may have added it after everyone was so mad about them not including it so it maybe a release day download.

# 120 theprocess @ 09/28/11 11:05 PM
Everybody go bat **** crazy!

You have to pay! Sorry 2k, I will not be paying for something that used to be free. I haven't logged in to this site in over a year since the release of 2k11 but I had to put my two cents in. But FU 2k.
