After 21 years of video gaming, I cannot stress enough how refreshing it is to have a sports game that seems to nail every strategic aspect of its respective sport on the console. I've been quite bored with video games lately, mainly because most require little to no thought to actually master. You could basically play most video games on cruise control. As you can imagine, that gets old after 21 years (I'm actually 28) LOL. Finally, a thinking man's game. Thank you, Based God!
This is great... being a big in My Player will be so much more fun now with more control over post offense and defense.
Got a question though: Is anyone else planning on making an all-flopping team for the new pull-the-chair move? Imagine goin at all game with a starting 5 of Fisher, Ginobili, Pierce, Varejao, and Vlade!
Even better, do that against a friend who has a team of entirely power post players! ie Gary Payton, Jason Kidd, Artest, Z-Bo, Shaq.

I think that would be really fun.
It is my belief that Rick Mahorn would captain the "chair pulling" team.
The variety of offense choices sounds amazing. I cant wait to see the different signature post/backdown moves and shots. Sounds like it will finally be fun to play with big players, although I am looking forward to backdown with mj and kobe. With all the different selections Im definitely going to go through the training camp to get the controls down pat.
I can't lie this game is starting to get kinda complicated. Oops, let me check myself the game has been complicated if you really want to learn every move you could spend atleast a full week in the practice mode before ever playing a game
With the new changes to the post game and the my player mode, it might actually be a blast having a career as a big guy. This game is lookin' goooooood!
Why do the Bulls AGAIN have black socks/shoes at home? Same goes for the Blazers and the Kings!!! If this is no new playoff feature in 2K12, i really hope it's not the same stupid bug like last year when the game was released.! But it looks like it! :-(
Best insight X100.
I was a beast with d12 in 2k11, now i will be unstoppable. Before d12 really developed his post game his main move was the drive across the paint from the post followed by a flooter/hookshot. I couldnt really do that in 2k11. I had to faceup, then try and run across the paint but the defender would bump into me and throw everything off. Now i can drive to key after using the lean back move, then use the floater/leaner. Which is what he does irl. Or i can use the aggressive backdown, then use the dropstep dunk. Or i can post up 12 ft out, shoulder fake the get in the defender mind that im thinking about going to the basket, use the create space move, then use the outside faceup, then bank it off the backboard. Or i can faceup, drive to spin, and finish at the basket with a dunk. His low post game has really developed after working with hakeem in the offseason and now i can mimic all his moves in 2k12.
OMFG its so many options. Now im not forced to do up and unders, or dropstep wait a sec. because of animations then dunk, or the kobe shimmey left shot right move which d12 never does any of. I was forced to use these because the post game was so limited.
Does anyone know what the difference is between outside faceup, and inside faceup. Im trying to picture in my head how the insight explain it but i just don get it.
