i started at 10am on the nose and im only at 38% at the moment.. boo!!
Madden 12 downloaded for me in just over an hour.. im not even on that pass, going very slow today. boo!! a few of my buds online still have it say pending..

Good idea to use this thread for the inevitable download progress updates. Remember, a watched pot never boils.
Yeah, Madden took around 45 minutes to an hour. Make sure you have no other active downloads going. I just messed around with NCAA Football, so as soon as my TeamBuilder teams update I'll be grabbing this. Fortunately for me, Friday is a work out of the home day with no kids (school) and wife (work/groceries) for most of the day.

At 77% right now. I woke up to start it at exactly 10, went out to cash my check and pick up some Mcds breakfast. Got home and the internet disconnected. Oh well though, should be playing in less than a half hour. Might say I'm a little excited...
finished mine in about an hour. noticed a couple of things so far. played NJD v. WPJ and around the 2nd period, the crowd just died and even when they showed the crowd they were just sitting there. also had a freeze up in the menu

mine is going slow to. madden went very quick. im guessing its an overload on the server

*UPDATE: If you tried the workaround below but still experience issues, please contact Customer Service as you may need a replacement Online Pass code. If you first entered your code and encountered the issue BEFORE 2130 CET Sept 8th then you will need a new code.
**UPDATE: we still don't have a solution to this problem at this time. However, we have found a temporary workaround that does not involve extending the trial period. Please follow the steps below if you get an error message about an invalid Online Pass Code or have problems with the server validating the code.
1. Enter the Online Pass Code (from the insert that came with the disc)
2. You will see either one of these messages (Error verifying Online Pass OR Code entered has already been used). When you do, skip to step 3
3. Reboot console without signing out of Xbox Live
4. Launch NHL12 and follow screen prompts.
5. The game should take you to the Online Pass re-download process.
6. Advance on the re-download Online Pass option
7. Proceed to Press Start screen

Oh, damn. Madden on the PS3 took about 15 min or so to download and install for me so I expect this to be a bit quicker...hopefully. Heh
Sorry for going off topic, but I'm really surprised this is released in Europe before the US. I know there's a lot of European players in the NHL, but still. Any reason that anyone knows?
