Anyone starting a post patch ONline dynasty ??? I will but I am going to have to delete my rosters and download them again. All-American or Heisman ? Either way we will need sliders I have sets for both that should play real. Another Question; What was the GAMEPLAY TUNING patch ??? have not heard anything on that front.
I'm afraid to turn my game on and D/L the patch. I had an extremely detailed roster that I put a ton of hours into. It's based off the OS community file, then I went in and edited players weights (by school site), depth charts, even took out irrelevant 3rd team upper classmen for more heralded under classmen. I was also keeping track of all the transfers, dismissals, academic casualties, etc..
I was counting on EA's patch to automatically fix the tendencies, and thus me moving forward into my Florida State or TCU offline dynasty. Now I would have to delete everything, re-download the roster, but how do I re-download my own roster?? Is that even possible?? I'm not 100% sure..
Also, my question about the patch is this, so someone please assist me since I'm at work and can't check for myself.
"In addition to the tendencies issue, we have also included both the ability to edit height and weight for players, as well as the option to edit the rosters of CPU controlled teams."
Can we do this? It was listed in the patch details list that came out in August. That was one of the main things I was looking forward to. That way if I signed some 6'6 205 pound defensive end in my offline dynasty, I could add 50 pounds to him to make his size more believable.
Upload your roster. Then go to Roster Share and search for your GT. It will let you download your own roster.
No worries. What is your GT? I'd like to check out your roster.
Just played my first game with the patch Michigan at Notre Dame (me). I won 14-12. Some things I noticed albeit I only played one game.
-The super LB thing only occurred one time and it was a nickel Corner who was a little deeper than a normal LB would be so it was somewhat realistic.
-The downfall is both QB's had very high completion percentage. Robinson went 15/17 and Crist completed like 18/24 or something like that.
-Denard took off 9 times for 49 yards, felt pretty realistic everytime I have everybody covered he would take off. I got 2-3 sacks on him as well when he tried to tuck and go but couldn't break the pocket.
Those are the only differences that I noticed that the patch made. Overall after playing this game though it made me realize how bad FG logic is and how it really breaks the game at least for me. Michigan attempted 2-3 FGs from 57-60 yards with there freshman kicker. Also the late game logic was terrible by them. They had the ball at their 20 with 1:30. They complete a short pass, then spike the ball, then run it. I was like what in the world? Then the CPU cheating AI knew I was playing a little off so they proceeded to throw 3 screens in a row 2 of which the QB lobbed to the receiver? Some of the things that occur in this game are mind boggling.
Sorry and for my next question. People are writing that they can't advance there dynasties they were waiting for the patch to advance them. IS it my understanding that nothing was done to help with the BOWL GAMES being lost. IS it my understanding that the same amount of ON line Dynasty games will still fail to upload... and Lose Our User Scores and Stats ?
You have to load NCAA again, decline the patch, load the roster file and save it as any name other than the orginal name you had for it. Then back out to the dashboard and then reenter the game, install the patch and it will be fixed.
I'm thinking of throwing the most recent OS community rosters on my GT that are fixed at least until Carson are someone directly involved is able to..

This patch has absolutely nothing to do with OD's, those are problems caused by the EA servers and have to be fixed from EA's end, those won't need a patch and can be fixed as soon as a proper fix is distributed. Your best following the NCAA football Twiter (spelling?) account or one of the devs for that information.

I am quite curious about this as well as I have not seen anyone post anything on it...?
And I also did the same thing for Auburn's roster, by deleting certain players for one's that I think will be more relevant and changed height/weight/hometown for entire team.
Oh I see. Well one or two dedicated servers would probably help considering I heard Call of Duty has 30 dedi servers. I have the OS Community rosters from Carson and CK11 and those guys. Will I have to Re DL them and RE Patch? How are you guys looking at your rosters and noticing if they are patched or not ?

i hope you dont add those 50 pounds his freshman year, cheeser
I go into edit roster and Denard Robinson (Balanced). Edit the player and it shows him as Scrambler.
Apparently you have to be a rocket scientist to get this fixed, because I absolutely cannot figure it out.
I uploaded my roster to locker.
I deleted roster.
I deleted tuner set.
Go to Dashboard.
Clear system Cache.
Back into game.
Upload roster, rename (ie: NCAA12).
Back to dashboard.
back to game.
re-install tuner set (nothing about a game update).
Roster for Michigan still reflects Balanced/Scrambler.

The patch is listed under memory in the NCAA 12 files. Delete it there. Not sure where the whole cache thing applies as that tripped me up as well until I found the actual patch save file and deleted it.

I think this may be a good idea to help those out having problems getting the tendencies fixed with the steps listed. It appears that some people may not be getting the patch off of their xbox judging by some of the comments here.
I made an account just to post this. First of all, I was looking forward to the patch completely for what I thought was the fix for simmed bowl games ( happened all 3 years of my OD changing results). Haven't tested that part yet, but I hear that is not even addressed with this patch. However, I was looking forward to the many other benefits of the patch.
Well,
Are playbooks bugged when making a new one, or just when editing an old one?
That happened when I created my new one. I heard the old ones had problems but if you deleted and re-created it, you'd be fine, so that's what I did and then ran into that problem.
Are online dynasties completely unavailable right now? I wanted to start mine today (hoping that they fix this bowl nonsense before we get to bowl games lol) and i cant get past validate rosters
I made an account just to post this. I have a 360. First of all, I was looking forward to the patch solely for what I thought was a fix for the failed to upload thing ( especially in every bowl game played in my OD). I haven't tested it, but I hear the patch doesn't even claim to address this, which is mind boggling. However, I was also looking forward to what seemed to be many other nice and promising fixes.
Well I downloaded update and tuning update, and then start up my OD. It won't let me use my playbook. Resaved it, changed it around and resaved it again. Won't work. (But magically have a new one called Eastern Michigan2 that is completely full of random formations?) Well start up the game. First drive I go no huddle (with Oregon) and boom, there is the no huddle glitch just as it was described for the PS3. Well, then playing along in the 2nd quarter and the game freezes. Only froze on me one time before the patch. And here I am. This is unbelievable. I didn't notice much in the tendency department either. Am I the only one that this has happened to?
