7th if you include the OS exclusive that came at around the same time as the 5th.

It says among the companies so it sounds like he had multiple options. I hope you get to pick between Nike, Adidas, Converse, Reebok and Jordans. I doubt it but it was funny how last year I had my own pair of Jordans but I still played with Adidas sneakers.

Nice read. I disliked the fact that the endorsements were grossly over stated last year but this time around they seem to be putting forth a conscious effort towards marketing your player (wishes he could have this in Association Mode too )

wow you can name your own shoe!!!........ *yawn* would of been better if we could make our own signature logo.

I dont know if i was imagining things but i was pretty sure i saw something about having NIKE ID in myplayer. That would be awesome!

Not that I hate My Player or anything but it seems since you guys voted it as the info this week, the excitement here has gone way down

Might be the way its been delivered, I dont know but I think people are more interested in other parts of the game than this initially

I haven't play my player mode since 2K10, I might give it a shot this time around.

It's definitely the way the news has been delivered. I voted for My Player because I was an avid player in 2K11. The lack of "New" info here has pretty much killed the excitement for me. I feel like I'm being setup for a big letdown in tomorrow's insight.

The problem is all this stuff isn't "New" it's just simply expanding on what was in the game already. Other than the interview with GM's all this was in last year MP.

I am assuming here, but we do get to choose the company? If I want I can choose Adidas, Nike, or Reeboks right?

problem is when they did this last year, releasing a feature a day for MyPlayer, they were all NEW features that weren't present the previous year. Outside of the GM interviews and Stern voicing the first round, basically all this was already in myplayer last year. So yea, its hard to get hyped over things you've already done. Maybe they're saving all the actual reveals for the main insight tomorrow. REALLY was hoping that they would at least update this "get your own shoe deal" thing to implement the create-a-shoe feature they used to have so that you could design the actual look of the shoe. And why does Ronnie's shoe not match his team colors?

# 12 qpc123 @ 09/08/11 03:02 PM
Shouldn't his "own" custom Jordan's at least be the colors of the team he plays for?

You know what they say about Assuming...so I wouldn't do it and wait til we see the insight tomorrow. I got a funny feeling it just says the company's want your endorsement, but Jordan is still the only signature shoe you can get. But I could be wrong

This stuff better be good because My Player is virtually the same as last year which was not great unto itself

I'm just waiting to hear "slider adjustments" in My Player

until then.. I can never take this mode seriously.. My Player is way too easy and I want a simulation experience when I play..

I don't want to average 35 points, 10 assists, and 15 rebounds a game in 5 minute quarters. I want a challenge with realistic player %s,tendencies, and good CPU awareness.

They should have to take good shots to beat me,

Not Emeka Okafor making a contested fadeaway 3 pointer and calling it "Hall Of Fame Difficulty"

Customize shoe means pick 3 colors just like in the old CAP

I see the red in the back and front of the shoe looks like you cant make them seperate colors ...ugh

sorry I dont see that happening. IN 2k10 there was a way you could do it if you had the draft combine or something like that. What people would do would jack the 3pt/dunk in traffic/mid range stuff like that all the way up so they could just do crazy stuff all game and get more skill points per game/achievements to level up there myplayer up really fast.
