New NBA 2K12 My Player Screenshots (+OS Exclusive)

We just posted three new screenshots of the My Player mode on NBA 2K12, including a single shot that is an OS Exclusive. You can view all of the shots on our NBA 2K12 Screenshots page.

One can assume that the My Player mode is going to be pretty nice this year if everything is implemented right. These screens show off some cool new features (Billboard, Bus Stop Ads, Sports Illustrated Cover). What do you all think?

As a MP enthusiast I hope I am wrong, but I'm starting to get an eerie feeling that this year improvements are mostly cosmetic.

I do like the fact that as a player you'll be rewarded for smart play, not just putting up gaudy stats.

I don't see how you can make that statement when:

1) We've seen very few screens, and one of them even hinted at a higher overall starting

2) In the Q&A thread it was said that the AI seems to play more intelligently as one of Aaron's teammates had 25 points.

3) It's honestly way to early to even hav an inkling of fear when the insight isn't even out yet and there's still more screens to see.

I can say it because it's a feeling not based on any logic what so ever. I'm a perssimist. I'm not drawing any conculsion until tomorrow, and hoping to be pleasantly proven dead wrong.

It's a shame details like these don't make it into EA games. That would be more acceptable if the core of the game was that much better, but...

Are you going to pass on the game if the improvements are not up to your standard?

I don't know good question. MP is the only mode I play. I think just the gameplay improvements are enough, but if none of my key issues get addressed maybe not.

I just purchased two games that's a different sport, by a different company and because their BAP mode is lacking I regret buying both. I don't need another coaster if you get what I'm saying. LOL Although my step son would play it so it wouldn't go to waste.

So the new features yet to be shown. I didnt expect them to show any new stuff when he said they will be releasing 2 pics a day until Insight. If they would of released nothing but new pics and just explained the pics in the insight, I wont be anxious for the insight. I actually dont mind the way it has been released. Saving the best for last and just showing improved features.

I would at least rent it. I'm not sure what position you play but the post game will be very enjoyable.

And if you're a guard, you're in treat for that too.

Much more "meat and potatoes" than other games, save for maybe The Show.

This is some very cool and exciting stuff.

I just wish they could get some sort of face mapping a la tony hawk underground. That would make me play this mode more.
