All these classic teams are great...I just wish we had young Wilt (Philly version), young Big O (Royals version), and maybe a different Jazz squad from the 80s with Mark Eaton (purple jerseys) instead of the same Jazz team twice.
I'll be really interested in how the 2K community utilizes all these classic teams. For instance, I'm certain prime Wilt and Oscar will get their due. I'm kind of wondering if someone will try to tackle an entire "60's" season. I mean, in '67 we're probably only looking at about 10 teams. But with the potential availability of at least two old school floors (sans 3pt. line), and the possibility to edit teams with short shorts, a '67 roster could be a real possibility. And I think that'd be pretty awesome.
But yeah, regarding the Jazz I agree, it'd be cooler if at least one of those teams (between Malone and Stockton's challenges) were the older version so we could utilize Eaton and their old floor. But then again, I'm pleased with the inclusion of both the '98 Lakers and '98 Spurs (the Jazz's opponents in each challenge) so I can definitely live with it.
LMAO.....Any who as far as Foamposites go I hope it's in the game correctly (not like the messed up the Black/Red XI's). Funny thing though, penny didnt wear those Foamposites until 1997 or 1998 when Shaq was long gone.
Oh I know he didn't wear them early on, I just have a major thing for foams which is why I said what I did.
looks like ill be getting rid of the New Orleans Hornets when I start a dynasty and have two teams in CHARLOTTE. Put the Hornets back where they belong, and we'll see which team can do better over the years. Can't freaking wait.
Who cares about online play. 2K gave us 30+ teams that are 9 or 10 deep. I couldn't ask for much more out of 2K12.
A lot of people do. Especially those of us who play the game from launch 'til the next game gets released. And I don't think it's a big to-do to implement the classic teams to online play, it's obviously a choice they're making.
This is unbelievable, the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, & 2000’s best are there, this a basketball game.
I wish that we can use all in the association mode, so that to upgrade the game to its maximum potential. WAWO
I wish also to give us the ability to add the players to the draft, just imagine that all these stars are back in the game as rookies, WAWO that would have been unbelievable.
The only thing missing is the 50’s teams and of course Sir Charles Barkley’s SUNS, & Reggie Miller’s PACERS.
But 2K12 is unbeatable, WAWO, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, 2K.

What is WAWO? With Arms Wide Open? That doesn't really fit into what you are saying.

Just had to say this, Tim Duncan won rookie of the year in 1996 therefore 97-98 season is not his rookie year. Either way he's goint to be a monster. Plus I can't wait for some old school hornets!
