Honestly I just bask in the Tony Romo hate at this point.
He's not one of the elites (that is, not Peyton / Brady / Rodgers / Brees / Roethlisberger / Rivers) , but still a damn good quarterback, and to deny that is simply foolish.
Yeah I have no problem with Romo. We need to see him perform more in the playoffs but there's only so much he can control
I'm not saying the guy should have 90 route running, just would have thought a WR could run better routes than a 7th round FB.
Also don't see Josh Brent on the Cowboys roster.
Im so glad you pointed this out. I feel the raintg system range is way too large. How can someone run a 28 route, or 44, and then have someone run a 92.
A route is a route. I understand some run them with more deception than others ,and that would place them in a 85 and above catergory, but shouldnt the worst be a 70?
These are NFL players. It just doesnt make sense a guy can have a 28 route running , and someone else have a 92. How is someone with a 28 route running even in the NFL?
Sure they can, they did plenty wrong last 15 years.....no rings then again thats what happens sometimes. You can't win em all. Thats okay though I'll gladly take 5 superbowls versus what the rest of the NFC East has.

Cowboys are overrated every year, in videogame & real life. Every year they are picked to win it all. & try & knock other teams if ya want, the Eagles are the ones without a SB win....lol
He should be rated a lot higher than that. I would say 88-90 ish. Dude is an excellent player.
Definitely not. The guy's got hands like glue, and he runs ridiculous short routes, but he's not that fast and doesn't get many YAC. He's an elite slot receiver, but not a big play guy.
I never really understood what the toughness rating meant, but clearly they do it arbitrarily if Ahmad Bradshaw is a 78. The guy fights for EVERY single yard. In 2009 he ran for 800 yards as a backup with two broken feet, and last year ran for 1200 in a timeshare with a broken wrist and a sprained ankle. The guy's a monster.
I know he's not on the team anymore, but how the hell is Seubert 81? O'Hara sat out six games last year with an injury and when Seubert played center, Eli didn't get sacked a single time. The guy's a boss and never gets any credit.
Jernigan has 48 route running. How does a slot receiver drafted in the third round have 48 route running? Also how does Barden have a higher spectacular catch rating than Cruz?
They really hated on Kiwanuka--he was playing at least as well as Osi before he got injured. Sure, lower his injury rating, but don't make him crap.
I was pleasantly surprised with the 90 on Webster--I personally feel he's been underrated as a shutdown corner the past few years, but he's getting his recognition now. I actually am very impressed with the ratings for the secondary in general.
Bruce Carter seems a bit low to me. I get not wanting to go overboard, since he's fresh off an injury, but the dude was a consensus first rounder until he got hurt. Doug Free's probably a bit low, too; he was a hot commodity this offseason.
Other than that, the Cowboys good on the whole. Not sure what has the haters up in arms... this team has a very bad secondary, a spotty offensive line w/o Leonard Davis, and absolutely nothing on the D-line after Ratliff. Doesn't seem like a case of EA overrating everyone.

Kiwanuka is really a 79 now? Wow. Wasn't he knocking on 90 last year or was it the year before? I mean I know the guy was hurt and hasn't been as productive stat-wise as you'd think (only 3 sacks in 2009, for example), but 79 is a bit of a surprise for a guy still seen as a top DE on a different defense without Tuck and Umenyiora. Hell, he was starting over Umenyiora to start the season.
They be killing me with having Webster and Thomas with LB speed. That is terrible. Both of there speed should at least be at 89. WRs don't be blowing by them like that for there speed to be that low and how did Kiwanuka's overrall drop from an 85 to a 79. He was in beast mode up until he get hurt. I wouldn't be complaining if he had of fell to an 83 or something but 79? Come on.. Manningham Speed should also be faster then a 92. 94 or 95 is where it should be.. Very disappointed in some of the ratings on the Giants..
