first thing i noticed, Zach Miller still on the Raiders O.o
All of the players are still on their old teams. Overall, I thought these rosters look pretty good. But Campbell in the 80s? I'd say 79 at the highest.
I don't understand players like Malcolm Floyd's rating in Madden. Here is a guy that from what I have seen and Chargers fans correct me if I am wrong, but from what I have seen he does most of his work from intermediate to deep and has the speed to get behind a defense as well as go up for the football at high points. He looks very slow with 82acel and 89 speed. He is slower than a lot of fullbacks. We can look at Jacob Hester on that same roster. He has 83 speed and 87 acceleration. Technically him and Floyd are about the same speed.
One thing straight away, take Zach "go to guy" Miller and the raiders offense is fairly poor. Alot of reliance on Mcfadden in year one untill following draft/FA.
Interesting team to do franchise with i reckon. Challange at start but potential.

Oh and Antonio gates ---- 99----- spare me
There are alot of ratings to debate about by why would it be hard to grasp the best TE in football having a 99 rating? He has 10 tds in 10 games last year...he is about productive as the top 10 WR in the league when he is healthy...

He is the best "receiving" TE in the game yes, is the best at run blocking, downfield distruption? NO!
I would bump Mcfadden to a 92 overall and up his speed to 98. His cary rating should be 90 too. Elusive should be at least a 90, juke 90.
Jones should have 99 speed and at least a 75 overall imo.

I expect my 99 TE to be the best at everything.
How is he the best "receiving" TE in the game but not a down field disruption? Do you think he only catches slants and out routes? Or that he is only used in the red zone?
Also curious to see what "blocking" TE you view as a better "overall" TE than Gates?
Well the way Madden (11 at least) calculates TE OVR relies heavily on the blocking attributes. So they boost Gates' ratings to give him that 99. If they fairly rated his blocking he would drop significantly in OVR (which would make the babies cry), even though he would still be dominant as a receiver. Again, it's just an OVR calculation issue. Fix that (or realize how stupid OVR is) = no more OVR debates.
EDIT: Oh and Witten is the best tight end overall.
