Misleading title. The game is $59.99 with a $20 dollar amazon credit rewarded after your purchase. No different than the umpteen deals that Amazon does, just like this.

It's a pretty good deal for people like me who order from Amazon all the time. I will definitely be taking advantage of this.
i am now beginning to use amazon for all my gaming purchases w/ these 20 dollar promos there giving...already preordered madden 12 and gears 3, my next will prolly be nba 2k11 and ill get battlefield 3 free
As sweet as this deal is (I've done it quite a bit with Amazon so I'm familiar with it), I still can't trust Madden or any other sports' game to buy it on Day 1. There's always something wrong with it. It takes nearly 3-4 months for 2 patches to come out to fix a sports game, then I can make a decision on whether to buy it or not.
I haven't been this tempted to buy a Madden in five years!
Hummm for some reason my order is different, the it seems as if they subtracted the $20 from the Madden purchase because the ending bill balance is $40.98 for release date shipping in my order.
this will be my first Madden purchase in a couple years (skipped 11) and I may try some online. If I see any of you there try not to run the score up too bad on me...lol
so at what point with every retailer offering 15/20 dollars off, does the price of video games just become 40/45 bucks and we stop calling these deals?
It is a beautiful system they have going. Claim retail is $60, but ALWAYS offer it at a "discount" so the consumer thinks they are getting a good deal.
Just pre-ordered from Amazon for a total of $40.98, plus a $20 credit toward a future purchase.
I applied the $20 credit I had for NCAA 12 (man, I hope they fix that mess through a patch). Plus, I got same-day shipping for 99 cents (you'll get it on the 30th) and no tax.
Hard to beat that deal.
Now, let's just hope Madden 12 doesn't turn out to be a bug-filled fiasco a la NCAA 12. If it is, I get what I deserve for pre-ordering.
