Interesting...I had wondered why they never brought Augusta to Tiger Woods Online - guess we know why now!

Having bought the console version for the first time in forever I'll probably pass, but it's good to see the series return to PC.

Wonder if it will be the same game as the consoles. I think it was NHL 09 that had a PC version released way after the original released date but it was nothing like the games that were released on the console systems. Even had different announcers and everything if I remember correctly. I did NOT like it at all.

I would've bought had I already not bought the console version.

But if they fix the pin placements.....I'd be tempted.

I like tiger woods online and wonder why I would buy this instead of just playing the online version? Especially if they put augusta in tw online.

They didn't.

Plus the online game is microtransaction based, which rubs a lot of people the wrong way. Say what you want about EA's prices for the console game's downloadable courses, but at least you aren't charged for every single round you play outside of a handful of free courses.

Hopefully quicker loading times on the PC if so in....

They are supposed to be releasing a demo of the PC version sometime today.

There is very little info about this PC version (big surprise right). From what I understand, it is almost a direct port of the PGA Tour online game (browser based) with a few more modes and courses.

IMO this is a rather slippery and shady marketing scheme on EA's part to increase there low sales numbers on this title/version. Game is not out yet so I could be wrong, but the current subscribers that are being forced to pay again are not happy at all in that area of their forum.
