I absolutely love that far-away angle from the rafters.
I hope they have goal celebrations from that angle as well. Love it!

These, for me anyway, I'll just watch once and then skip every single game.

I usually do too. That's why it'd be awesome if they spoke about individual players, their stats, what they've done lately, what a particular series was at (eg "Edmonton has won both games so far in the battle of Alberta").

Also, having a more real-time intro with camera angles changing randomly, would help a lot too.

Oilers logo at center ice facing the wrong direction, also Oilers sitting on the wrong bench.

You seriously care that the logo is facing the wrong way and the Oilers are sitting on the wrong bench? Really?

i wish they did the fighting from that angle, with some other scrums besides the main fight.

Its crap like this while (not a big deal) is hard to believe that EA consistently overlooks.

I really liked the Oil's intro quite a bit, myself. I guess I'm kind of a sucker for intro's and such to get be fired up to play. So hell...I'll probably always watch them all.

But anyway...yep Money, it'd be fantastic if the commentary was as deep as you mentioned. To talk about the players stats, past game match ups between the two teams, etc... It'd add a ton to the immersion.

From what he says in the beginning of the video it seems like these are the only two new intros in the game...Idk just a thought.

I HIGHLY doubt they made entrances for only the sharks and oilers.

If you watch the E3 live broadcast around the 31:30 mark, Rammer says they have the shark head and the oil derrick.

I think that's all.

If those are the only 2 in the entire game that will be totally LAME!

Wow I will be extremely disappointed if this is the case.

Yup. You should care to. They promote the most realistic NHL game etc. But yet can't get the logos facing the right way and get the teams on the correct benches.

That would totally piss me off.. and honestly would not make ANY sense whatsoever.

I'll be pretty surprised if in deed only two were added.

I'm almost temped to think....if it is only two, maybe they should have just waited to be in a better position to add a good number of them.

That would be terrific!

I know it's outdated, but I actually didn't have a problem with the fighting in NHL94.
For today's generation, add in a few extra buttons like switching hands, tugging on jersey, etc. and then give us that far-away angle.

You could have multiple scraps going on, or just enjoy watching the crowd and fellow players enjoy a good dustup.

Who else has a gimmick intro like the shark head or oil rig? I know the Pens just come out of the tunnel with some smoke/lights and they blast the goal horn.

The Predators have the head and Columbus has that Cannon they fire, although I'm not sure if that's at the beginning of every game or if they fire it when they score.
