If that were that case it would be nice. Instead I think it shows too glaring flaws that have been in current gen madden forever. 1.) Lack of precision passing. Cutler should have been able to lead the wr with a pass more to the inside instead putting it where a defender can make a play. and 2.) Wrs not going after the ball with the same intensity defenders do.

My whole point on the blocked punt wasn't the fact we saw a blocked punt, but rather the fact that it was the CPU that blocked it. I never had the CPU block me in madden 11.

I wasn't adressing you specifically(although you may not have meant it in that way). I have had the CPU block me on occasion but only if I was backed up in the end zone like he was. But if you haven't had the cpu block u you; I can see where this would be exciting.

I've also seen 2 of my friends get there punt blocked while they were back up in endzone by the CPU.. Its never happen in the open field though..

Because its on by default online and can't be changed in ranked games? I ask because I think it is but didn't play many online ranked games with 11. But that's usually the issue with stuff like this, having an option is great but if you play ranked online it's pointless to bring up that you have the option when it's not adjustable..

Light rain, and they're playing in a dome. lol. Seriously though, the more I see of this game, the more excited I get about it. I'm still not sure if I'll buy it or not. The last 5 have been serious disappointments. So much so that I haven't bought Madden the last 2 years. I'll wait for reviews this year before I buy, and that's an improvement over last year, where I decided I wasn't going to buy it in Feb. or March of last year because they said that franchise was the same as the previous year. And that was a horrible, stripped down version of the last 2 year's awful franchise modes.

Also, another reason why I might buy the game is because I have a real urge to play with the Packers. I've basically been on a 4 month high since they won the Super Bowl and just need to play with the Packers against the Bears and whoop their *** again.

Just seeing a punt blocked makes this a day one purchase for me. Haven't seen that done by the CPU in SO long.

i like the CPU gettin a good pas rush FINALLY

but does anyone notice that the CPU QB makes the worst reads ever.
they can have 2 guys open but will throw into traffic

Thats because the game was played on All-Pro.. I instantly noticed how bad it was.. The CPU QB is the worst on that level.. I'll definitely be playing on All-Madden or All-Madden sliders like I always have.. I don't know how anybody gets a challenge from the CPU on All-Pro unless they just started playing the game.

It wasn't even about the accuracy.. It was the slow lob up passes Cutler was throwing. Cutler does have an arm. He shouldn't be floating ball like that on short passes.. The CPU QB does that a lot on All-Pro.
