One of those Lions DTs gets tossed like a rag doll on thea first play. Can't get over how much better this game looks right now
Another solid video...
Prior to E3, I saw a lot of, "The vids will tell the true story. Screens do nothing for me. Not getting caught up in the fluff. Etc, etc." Don't hear too much of that now. I think people are hard pressed to say the videos at a minimum haven't been impressive. Not perfect, but for Madden, impressive.

Loving what I'm seeing, but I really do hope special teams got some love with all this icing.
You can definitely see the progressive lighting in this video. At the beginning there's a shadow up to the 50 yd line and towards the end it's past the 40, nice to see.

Small thing that looked really good: early in the clip, Levy squares and hits Hillis in the hole, and Hillis shuffles laterally from the impact and then continues forward. That looked really smooth. Hopefully that's indicative of the way they've implemented momentum, etc. when it comes to tackling.

As everyone knows Madden in the past has made speed be the "be all end all" rating. They said that wasn't the case any longer so it was just to make her feel better. I hope

I love how the Madden guys are able to admit "we haven't given the love it deserved" when talking about Franchise mode. Seen it a couple times now.
I prefer that they acknowledge and own up to the mistakes that have been made, it's a much better strategy than trying to make excuses "well you can't get everything into the game every year."
Kudos to them for realizing and being able to admit their faults and then moving forward and improving on them. It's uplifting to see as a fan of the series. They have won me back to the franchise and I will be purchasing at midnight.

This game looks so different from other maddens games to me. Maybe i'll actually buy madden instead of renting it from gamefly. Looks really good though.
