The very first hit Cutler takes from Cullen Jenkins should have been a fumble. And I suppose I won't be able to challenge those situations, properly. Grrr!

This game looks better and better every day

I heard Collingsworth say a new line.

First play of the game, Cullen Jenkins whips the LT from a three man line. FINALLY, a blindside DE winning!!! Would have been even better if it was a fumble. Now hopefully the results are the same in Human vs. CPU matchups and hopefully, the OLB's can be just as disruptive.

Also, on the final play, the Rodgers pick, it looks like the pocket was collapsing pretty nicely.

edit: thought the Jenkins hit was a sack.

So far, besides this video, I've seen videos that had 25 yard sacks to be followed by 40 yard passes. That's discouraging.

Now, I'm gonna wait till after the game comes out and see what people who have played it have to say about it before deciding whether to buy. Still a little hopeful.
AJ mentioned the games have been on pro at E3. Not sure if that makes a difference or not, but to me it would.

This is definitely an older build, look after the Bears score, it shows the old zoom in on a few fans, the e3 videos show it zoom out to the stadium view where you can see a huge section of the crowd.

I bet this is from March or something.

As others said, I like how the pressure looks so far from the front 3. Some of the defensive playcalling seemed a little off but maybe thats only because he got burned. Again, the game looks great to me

This also confirms that the team songs are in the game, but they have background music playing at the same time, again early build. I also like how they have Matthew's flex in the game.

Looks good but it is once again an older build, just like the Cleveland video they released yesterday. The graphics in those vids do not look anything near as sharp or crisp as the vids directly from the show room floor. Also, even in the replays it does not show any 3D grass or anything. Also, the camera angles and replays do not look anywhere near the current E3 builds we have been seeing. The gameplay does not look as smooth or polished either.

The videos still look good but I wonder why they chose to use a dated build to show off their game. If they used the build they are using at E3 it would be much more impressive.

Heres a new video posted by KOACHK from the E3 floor. It is also in Chicago and look how much more polished this looks....

That interception animation at the end was slick.

And I noticed Matthews hair was flowing when he did his flex, thats very cool.

Really though, that wasn't a fumble.
And therein lies the problem. I think that's a fumble, so I want to challenge. Will I get an accurate challenge from the refs? Are we going to get a good look at the play? The challenge scenarios have never really been represented well in Madden. It's a HUGE part of the NFL, as well as NCAA, and I'd like to see it represented as a worthwhile function.

I heard a Dub Step song during the time out, nice.

Agreed! I especially like how the WR didn't morph into a tackle afterwards. I hated that about past Maddens!

I hate how Gus Johnson still butchers Robbie Gould's name.

# 16 Aggies7 @ 06/09/11 06:37 PM
I noticed that when Cutler threw long to Hester Gus Johnson got all excited but when Hester caught it Gus just casually said "tackled at the 28" with no enthusiasm at all. Be excited it was a long completion.

Since madden 10 I have been reading "its a early build" when the game is being show cased at E3 or " its on a easy difficult level"
And everytime I buy the game it plays just how I saw it in these so called "early build" E3 vids

Deep down inside I feel this game wont have that "THAT BLOW AWAY" effect until there's a new game engine.

Until then madden will still have these die hard fans believe this pipe dream will come true

Game is looking good. Can't imagine how it will play when we get to tweak the settings ourselves (I am sure they are using some sort of default settings to show the game off)...

Best looking and playing Madden in years...

Game is really looking good, I wonder if we will still hear the team specific music after a score like last year?
