OS at E3: SSX Preview

It's been a long time coming, but I finally got a chance to play some SSX here at E3. The demo was only showing off the Trick It mode, but since the game is still months and months away, this was not all that surprising. You can read on to find out about my hands-on impressions, as well as some thoughts about the other two unplayable modes, Survive It and Race It.

I guess I'll have to see how the "Survive It" mode plays out, because i anticipated it to actually look like the Avalanche mode in Cool Boarders 3. Hopefully this one will be better.

And I'm a bit disappointed at the "different drop points" aspect for the racing mode. It would be much better if everyone was at the same starting gate, giving you a clear idea of where you are against everybody. Plus, you can start doing some pushing and shoving.
