I'm also going put this on the "wait to buy after reading the user reviews" list. I find it interesting that one of the game features, is creating and sharing wrestlers. Um...we can already do that. Show us something we DON'T have in this game...show us how the A.I. has been improved. I'm with the others I've read in saying that since THQ changed the name, I'm hoping the changed other things as well. Changing the name of game doesn't make the game better. C'mon THQ, give us that "carrot".

I took that as standard PR speak, to inform those who may not know all the creation options in their game.

I don't know how you can read the IGN article and NOT think they've changed more than the name. We obviously don't know how it'll play, but the big push is how much they've changed with utilizing their Predator Tech.

In your impressions for Saturday I just have a few questions about classes; and weight/strength detection; moves Will Rey Mysterio or the Divas still be able to body slam guys out of their class like the Big Show ect. Secondly, for created wrestlers do they also follow this logic. One thing that irritated me most online for Smackdown vs Raw last year was guys created 7 foot wrestlers with 100 speed running around doing Rey Mysterio moves. Are there parameters for classes. Lastly, will certain moves only be selectable as finishers? Again Smackdown vs Raw, you'd have guys doing Stone Cold Stunners, RKO's and Rock Bottoms as grapple moves.

I'm hoping we have full editing abilities of ALL wrestlers (attributes, outfits, etc).

Could'nt you do that last year but you had to pay extra?

You could in 2011, but this company has a history of removing features. So I'm hoping they keep that in.

I am excited about the graphic update. It's hard to tell how the gameplay is because the "preview" videos are spliced at a quick pace. I think that is what gives everyone the impression the game is "fast". But, we've all been excited about this game before and had let down after release. So time will tell.

I'm intrigued because of the solicitation of ideas I saw from THQ on the site in the past year. I haven't followed wrestling or bought such a game for a long time, yet I still play WWF No Mercy for the N64. The quandary is that THQ asks specific questions about how to improve the game, and I didn't even want to answer because it felt so far off track to begin. I want a game that is as fun to play as No Mercy, and there is not a darn thing that the recent engine could do to recapture that.
