We'll get them though during E3 as we did in previous years (user uploaded YouTube vids). So yeah, basically one more week
Just wonder why they do it this way now, as far as delaying actual gameplay footage. Prior to M10 coming out, we got plenty of vids. I think they started late April/Early May that year because I remember suggestions we made at Community Day being in the build that Ian was playing with IGN staffers.

I'm sure I'll like the gameplay b/c I enjoyed M11. But it seems like it would be useful to let the fans get their eyes on it a few months out so changes/tweaks could be made as necessary (as we saw with M10).

Imagine having all 24 players or whatever on the field having each indiviual rain drop falling off their helmet, or each article of clothing swaying and moving realistically with momentum or the wind. That is so much going on at one time, that the current gen consoles have no chance.

So hopefully next gen consoles can handle that. I doubt we'll need to wait two more generations.
actually, all pro 2k8 had rain drops hitting the helmet and bouncing off! oh and ur right, xbox360 cant handle the jerseys blowing in wind. but ps3 can. the things they could do if they made it just for ps3 would be nuts blu rays can handle more than twice the data that can be put on the 360 discs. thats why u always see them playing early builds on 360!! the 360 is holding stuff back. look how amazing mlb the show is! eff the 360!! ha

first off like say that i respect your opinion and also i own all three systems and they all have flaws and things that make them great as well so with that said we should just can this related the to the thread not console bashing...don't you think?

APF also had laughably bad player models and field textures that looked like painted concrete. It's all about trade offs.

From a purely visual standpoint Madden 12 is head and shoulders above anything that has been achieved in any other football game to date.

...stuff like that has nothing to do with the disc size. Also no console wars, please.

Wow that looks amazing. The only thing that would make it better is showing raindrops on the helmet. That would be crazy!

Great screenshot. Degradation looks realistic & not overdone. Hopefully the same level of realism is extended to the rate at which degradation takes place.

.
Yeah it is strange though I think it could be because there's no better way of saying "gameplay footage in this video is not final" than to not have any gameplay videos at all when there's still tweaks being made to the gameplay

what they need now is showing the undershirt collar. Its just crazy to see players look like they wear sleeves exclusively

# 51 PSRusse83 @ 05/29/11 05:16 AM
Which is once again something that was in Last gen games.

Im fine with just uniform degregation and players slipping. Maybe a few more inaccurate throws or dropped passes would be cool but if gameplan affecting weather is going to be in madden 12, EA would have announced it my now

is this still in the game
