Why is his index finger pointing upward? Who points like that? lol That's the "check, please" gesture.

Damn you can see the detail down to the fingernail, lol.

I hope they have QB's pointing without having to call an audible. One reason why Madden doesn't look natural is because they dont have extra animations like. A QB walking up to the line pointing out coverage in a tense situation can add to the immersion, so everything isn't so robotic. Can't wait to see more.

That's what this screen is from. I actually took it so I know. There are a lot of small details like this that you'll notice in Madden NFL 12.

Sounds and looks good to me. I love seeing and hearing about these small details that make the game more authentic.

I see there still no love for us patriots fans, you must be a giant fan too. Lol On the other hand, kudos for your work this year, the visual side of madden will surely be on point this year..

This is what I like to hear. Really liking what I'm seeing from Madden this year.

You guys will notice the pointing when you're calling an audible, but you'll also notice the QB doing gestures like putting his hands up by his ears, etc when going to the line of scrimmage. It doesn't happen all the time, but it does occur. Looking forward to hearing what you guys think when you get your hands on the game. I've been having a blast playing the game and I've had a lot of close battles here internally.

I don't know if anyone remembers, but last year they had the exact same picture with Tebow doing the exact same gesture. People made fun of it for a good while. From the looks of it, the improved player models that they are touting, actually look a little improved. It is no longer comical like the shot from last year.

Yes, the angle of his finger and hand still look a tiny bit odd, but in last year's pic, it looked like his arm was coming out of his stomach. This pic actually looks good.

Keep it up. You aren't there yet, but you're definitely closer.

Are you telling me that this is actual gameplay? Are you saying that when you called an audible it did this, or is this a cutscene of the QB coming to the line? If it's the latter, this isn't new. If it's the former, I'd be very impressed, but I don't see how that could be an in game shot.

Tebow takes directives from a higher power; perhaps he's just giving a shout-out to the source of inspiration for the audible he's about to call with the point of a finger. Now that would be realism.

Id like to see a screen of Berger or Cutler. Wondering if they added in those facemasks that the QBs wear.

All that does is reinforce how excellent the new lighting is going to make Madden 12. It looks so much better with the new lighting!

It looks like he is saying, "I am going to tell you one more time to stop sacking me or I'm going to part the line and run it in for a TD".

The lighting does look great, but I'm more impressed with the proportions dimensions and structure of his body. The player models in Madden have long been a source of nausea for me lol. Still not where I would like them to be, but I acknowledged and applaud the improvement.
