I agree with what others said about the layout. I just don't understand why these companies but so little effort into getting a good layout for their menus. Menus need to be quick so you can go from one thing to another. For MLB the Show & NBA 2k i can get from the main menu to a game in my franchise in a minute. For NCAA 11 the menus were SOOOOOOOOO slow. NBA 2k & The Show it was also quick to edit players, scroll through those menus, etc. I can't speak for how Madden was last year because i didn't buy it but again NCAA was awful.

Then comes the layout. We need something bright not dark, something that appeals to the eyes not something boring, something thats easy to navigate through. I really liked when they had that radio show because it was a nice filler in between when youre doing the non gameplay stuff. It also represented how in real life games are played on Sundays and then Mon-Fri people listen to talk radio and talk about what just happened and what is upcoming.
yea i liked NBA 2K10's menu , very smooth and quick to navigate

agreed, and i actually really liked the menu navigation in m10 & m11, they were both pretty similar and easily accessible for the most part. my only complaint was scrolling through all the arbitrary stats during a league draft but it wasn't nothing too inconvenient.

i don't understand the reason for the change, and granted its just my personal opinion but i do not like the look and organization of the menus. too late to change anything now, so it looks like i'm stuck with that damn paint spatter not just for the cover...but now behind every player face and menu title. it just doesn't say professional football to me...a good effort for a corporate slide show but i can't relate it to madden. i just hope everything is at least easy to navigate.

I'm guessing that there will be a full on media blitz next month at E3.

Monday June 6th (all PT)
Microsoft – 10am
EA – 12:30
Ubisoft – 2:30
Sony – 5pm

While EA has games like Battlefield and Mass Effect, I'm sure they'll show some Madden.

The cuts seem nice but most likely the min. req will make the player have to pick one football player over another only because they need to have him to fulfill the req....not because they believe they are the better of the two.

He wont be on the team anyways. Jaiquawn Jarrett will probably be starting at SS with Nate Allen at FS. In case you dont know who Jaiquawn Jarrett is here you go -

Since you mentioned it here...I was wondering with the expanded rosters and everything....

How big are the Draft Classes going to be now ???

It seems like it use to be like 240 or so which always made late 7th round picks pointless , not to mention hardly any free agent rookies left after the draft....I sure hope this has changed (alot) !

Also wondering if NCAA imported draft classes will get random "real" picture portraits, or if the old pre-made faces are still in the game for NCAA imports >
