Madden 12 News Post

Jon Robinson of ESPN The Gamer has posted a new article discussing some major changes to Madden NFL 12, especially involving presentation.

Quote:
""When people turn on the game for the first time, I want them to be like, 'Wow, I've never seen that before.," says Mike Young, "Madden NFL 12's" art director. "What we really went for this year was all the stuff everybody has been asking for but had never seen in 'Madden' before. Whether it's the green dot on the quarterback's helmet or the mascots running out onto the field, I think everybody is going to have their own 'wow' moment when they play the game.""

Man. Best preview I heard for XBOX 360/PS3 versions of Madden so far. Everything sounds good so far. Now we just have to see this thing in motion.

Individual press and DB shade inside/outside= WOOOHOOOO!!!!!

I also wonder if the camera work is only for cutscenes or actual preplay/post play camera work.

I noticed the cam work a bit in the teaser. This is all a great step in the right direction.

I agree this all SOUNDS real good, but will it all work out of the box or will we have to wait till the 2nd and 3rd patch ? And I'll ask the same question for like the 10th year in a row, will weather effect gameplay or does it still just change the color of the field only??? !
