Phil Frazier, Executive Producer for Madden NFL 12, has just announced that a teaser video will be released early next week with several new features to be shown.

[PGaither84 goes into game modes, selects Franchise - New Franchise. A pop up come on screen. "New Franchise unavailable do to NFL lockout. Please enjoy more Play now and Madden online multi player."]
I'm hoping EA Tiburon fixes the gameplay (physics/animations) and makes it fun. I always turn on Madden and within five minutes it's off again because it plays nothing like real football and is boring to me. Tumbleweed tackles, bad o-line and d-line play, running and passing the ball is boring and doesn't respect physics, and all of the other things people are saying. When I play APF 2K8 or NFL 2K5 it's fun to convert every down, and running and passing is great. It's also fun to play defense because I actually feel like I can affect the outcome of a play at any given time. Madden I never get that sense. In Madden I also want to see players playing like they do in real life. I wanna see Derek Anderson severely under/over throw Larry Fitzgerald deep and have him adjust to it and make a sick, realistic looking catch while Nnamdi Asomugha covers him perfectly, plowing Larry over in a way that respects real life physics (Not Madden physics haha) and forcing the fumble. And I want it to look different every time it happens. Okay, now I'm just getting into wishful thinking. Point is, if I don't see serious improvement this year there's no way I'm buying NCAA or Madden. Thanks for reading this whole babbling message haha.
I think it will be news that Madden will be out this year and annonce the finalists for the cover. Maybe a few replay clips of the cover athletes. My basis is off the twitter comment from EA saying big news monday both reassuring and inolving the fans
I'm guessing that the video will include the ESPN Presentation.
They have done it with NCAA and NBA Elite so I think it's time for Madden to use the ESPN presentation IMHO
tweet from phantastic phil phrazier. [hey thats what Phillie fans do ]
"Several areas of the game are shown, including an improvement to franchise. Remember, it's a teaser! We don't show much".
So it looks llike we will get a glimpse at one improvement.
Hopefully this isn't "the" improvement to franchise...because it needs a LOT more than a single improvement to get to the level of other games, and I don't think I'd be offending anyone by saying that.

No, your not offending anyone, but he did say, "teaser", they don't show much. To me, that means, stay tuned, there is more to come down the road.
I know there won't be a great overhaul to things, but I'll get excited if for once the pass arc and trajectory gets an overhaul, and this has been a problem in both Madden and NCAA since as long as I can remember. Back to the ps1 days even. Its my biggest issue and part of why I don't throw certain passes, and also results in those SuperInts we see in the games all the time.
Also tuning the pass rush logic would be awesome. Especially in a 34 and the cpu's logic in its refusal to taking sacks like it would cost them a loss of point for each one.
