According to the official Playstation Blog, the MLB 11 The Show demo arrives on Tuesday, February 22nd. No details have been released, as of yet.

Wow, only 100 MB in almost 5 minutes, it's gonna take forever...

Why is the demo so huge? I skipped last years demo, but didn't 09 have way less than 3GB?

This is painful.....200 mb downloaded and yet only 6% done.....

I decided to run into the other room and hardwire my ps3 and it cut off about an hour of time downloading... still got 120min left...

Everyone is worrying bout download time... anyone ever remember a mlb the show download, if anything, and actual DEMO being this large.. hmmm either the graphics are that much enhanced or something is up their sleeve.

I am doing the same thing, I also signed out of PSN while it downloads. Not sure if that helps, most likely it doesn't. I'll check on it at 6:30.

I was thinking about that too....could have a lot more audio content than previous demos did.

If it's to post a few requests and such, I would wait first until people get used to the game and play a few rounds..
