"A demo for Sony’s MLB 11: The Show is in the pipeline and will arrive in the not so distant future. MLB 11 brand manager Scott McCarthy said in New York City that the demo was just approved today, and that a release date should be announced soon.
It’ll be available to all PlayStation Network users upon release, and not limited to PlayStation Plus subscribers."
Most years, I'm indifferent when it comes to having a demo for this series. I know I'm buying it regardless and after 3 or 4 games, I'm kind of bored and very ready for the full game.
This year, with all the new controls, I'm really hoping we get the demo two weeks before release. Other than the pitching meter, I'm very content with the controls as they were, but if I had a few weeks to play around with all the analog controls, I may switch over to them permanently. Without enough time, I may just end up frustrated and go back to what I know because I usually can't wait to dive into a RTTS and I don't want my unfamiliarity with the controls holding back my HOF'er
