This game still boasts a lot of jaggies, but it looks pretty good so far.
The face was done really well. The glove looks worse in HD though!
ehhhhh they really need a new designer because the players and those god awwful gloves look bad. HOPEFULLY the gameplay is much improved and animation dont look to funny.

its just a glove, they look like that every year. lets worry about fixing the gameplay first.

If VC can get this game running like they have NBA 2K, the last thing I'll be thinking is "the glove....."

I was thinking the same thing Dave. The glove may be off but, if the gameplay is tight then we should have a decent game.

Personally the still picture is just fine, If I were to look at it I would say that it pretty much resembles the SF Giant Closer. Yeah the glove can be better detailed but that's not what will be viewed when the actual game is in full motion and being played by the user.
Now if you're simply a replay/Zoom in type of guy, searching for loose threads on uniforms or inch by inch stadium resemblence then I could understand your reason for detail. As the glove does look like Brian Wilson does have some oceanatic sea-creature flipper attached to his left hand.
Just incase I'm not a huge pic type of guy, I'm more of a video motion type person.

I like the screen and think it looks a great deal like Brian Wilson. I can also look past the glove, not that big of a deal when in motion. Can't wait to see some gameplay vids though.
On another note, should the ends of the sleeves look like that? They look like they are about a 1/2" think or so, doesn't really look natural although again, in motion this is probably something that will not stick out.
EDIT: after looking at it again it may just be the view that the shot is taken at. Or maybe because the end of the sleeves are blocky. Still, shot looks pretty good.

As a Giants fan, I'm glad they included his iconic gesture (especially since if its seen, the Giants have won) but at the same time, they got a lot of stuff wrong on Brian. His upper body is huge, but his arms are tiny in comparison. If you've seen the guy, his arms are pretty big. They also left off his tats. With all of the images of him during the WS they should be able to replicate them. That's not as big of a deal as his proportions, though.
And yes, that glove looks like a flipper.
