Leading publisher Black Bean Games released two new gameplay trailers for their forthcoming title SBK 2011. This first look illustrates two tracks, Assen and Portimao in both wet and dry conditions and aims to demonstrate graphic improvements.

SBK 2011 is scheduled for release in May 2011 for PlayStation®3, Xbox360® and PC.

The bikes look very detailed but once again the trackside detail is somewhat sparse. There is also a sense that what trackside features do exist seem pushed too far back from the track. All that said this is still a great simulation. I will be interested to see what Black Bean have brought to the table this year in regards to innovation & upping the stale atmosphere that exists around the current Race Weekend mode.

why is it that the USA is a year behind in getting SBK games. SBK 10 just released in the states in December and now 11 is about to come out, or is already out. What's the deal?

This news of SBK 2011 coming out in May specifically applies for Europe as of now. This game hasn't been officially announced to be released anywhere else yet.

On a topic related to this thread, check out this YouTube video of an early playable demo of SBK 2011 courtesy of TeamVVV. The player is showcasing Max Biaggi's Aprilia RSV4 on the Portimao circuit in dry and wet conditions.



There is also a video of an interview with a staff member of Milestone coming from the same source.
