they have a bad habit of advertising topspin as a simulation without even following the basic rules and fundamentals of tennis.

i would like to see topspin's graphics and game play with Smash Court Tennis 3 rules, fatigue system and scheduling system.
agree ,hope they are listening

also need to amp up unforced errors

If the ADD crowd want to make it 3 games then they can do that but the sim players should be able to set it at 6 games a set if they want. How hard can that be to do?

It's like playing the Show and only being able to play 5 innings in franchise mode or 3 quarters in Madden or 12 holes in TW golf. Complete and easily avoidable gamekiller. How there isn't numerous complaints from gamers about this is beyond me.
Right on.

I don't care about a limited roster (which is very deep for a tennis game).

All I care about is a true-to-life career mode with accurate number of games and sets. If the game don't got it, I ain't buying it.

Top Spin 3 was really good, but a lot of things were missing :

Let or Net (during service or not),
More control on where the first service gonna land,
More balanced difficulty for 1st and 2nd serves,
And a bit more of non-scripted plays...

That should be it.

post of the month. Thank you! 100%

if this game doesn't have 6 game sets in career mode, i will not purchase it. Plain and simple. Hope the developer is paying attention to this forum.

We desperately need to hear more info about the career mode (same thing with the new Tiger Woods as well). The longer the developer goes without addressing it, the more I fear it won't be up to snuff.

Yeah Top Spin 3 was terrible online due to the above-mentioned serve exploit and the fact that you could dump all your points into power/stroke and basically be unbeatable.

The online part of the game will need to be balanced a lot better this time around.

i like what the previous poster mentioned Re: net/let calls. Never noted this in a tennis title. It would be an ideal addition...

For TS and TW golf I'm expecting the same generic cookie cutter career mode that they've had in the past which means it will get boring in about a week. Even with TW12 where they have amatuer and Nationwide tours it will probably designed the same way as TW11 where it's presented in a very dull and uninvolving manner. If they are planning to do a complete overhaul to either game they would have been advertizing it weeks ago.
Co-sign. I believe you are 100 per cent correct.
