thank you!!!!!!!!! finally someone addresses these whiners!! icon lead passing is your best friend! use it people and stop complaining!!

and use the right stick for passing too!! (RB+move the right stick in the direction you want to pass) might shave that extra second you need off a pass to fit it in a tight window

After not playing a ton of 2K10 I really didnīt know that you could actually lead the receiver, even make him fade or do a curl . Thanks a lot for that video, will really help

GREAT way 2 highlight the passing in this video! Too many people are playing video game b-ball and thus ending up with a crazy # of turnovers. #playbasketballpeople

Another good one!

I was afraid there will be no "Don't play video games, play basketball", so I was relieved to hear it at the end. It's just not the same without it.

Excellent video from Prof. Czar. I love the passing options that we have at our disposal this year.

Another tip is using right stick passing. I find it a lot more natural than left stick passing. It's not as accurate as icon passing, but feels more natural than using left stick to both move the ball handler and choose the receiver

I happen to agree, throwing full cross court passes and careless tosses are the main culprits to passes being picked off.

I got tired of all star until I realized what I was doing. Just as Czar said, take a couple of steps towards the man you want to pass to, to get him the ball, or lead pass away from the D.. give yourself some space..

Needless to say im not having that issue beyond the occasional bone headed why did I do that pass that works against fundamentals 101...

Great session Czar

How new are total control passing and icon lead passing actually ?
Lead passing and offball controls where already in 2k9.

yea great point 23. if you really focus on what your doing and realize that players need to come to the ball and catch and thus create space for oppertunities everyone will be fine.

Thanks, this is great for people like myself who are still trying to unlearn NBA 2K10.

it seems that with the right stick passing the game actually helps determine what pass is best. With it I've seen a few bounce passes on the break, wrap around passes in the paint and lead icon passing on the perimeter. Does anyone else see this?
