Also, the demo doesn't include playcalling, commentary, and the dynamic attendance and overall presentation additions aren't in there. Also, the demo is stuck on a specific game style, most probably the casual setting and pro, so there's no challenge, and limited AI plays, so you can't fully enjoy the game. But in terms of gameplay, controls, and likeness to the real deal, it blows away every other NBA game released, so that's hype enough, not sure wth you're expecting from an NBA game
Thanks bigluca, I guess my problem was feeling I really couldnt do anything in the game beside move my player with the left stick, basic pass, and basic shoot. Granted I have not played a basketball game since 2k8 which is probably part of the problem of not knowing how to do spins, lead passes etc. My main concern was with people saying how they cant stop playing the demo and I'm done with the demo after 4 games.

Oh
i would look up 2k's video tutorial on how to dribble. It's been complicated since last year, but that's not necessarily a bad thing, no more unrealistic spins and what not. But for the casual player, i guess 2k10 would be perfect, 2k11 is just taking it a a giant step further

The option to control one player for an entire game. It was in last year, so I'm sure it's there again, but I ask every year, just in case.

Thanks for the fast response.

As for the rebounding - there clearly isn't any boxing out except during free throws. Can you confirm it - I've seen a lot of gameplay vids and it really seems to be true.

are there long term contracts in my player now? There must be long term contracts if they put in a trade request. Right?

Holding both triggers will initiate a post up anywhere on the court.
Do you have to be moving first though before you can post up? Because I tried just receiving the ball and then pressing both triggers without dribbling first and Pau wouldn't post up.

Also, do you hold them both down at the same time, or hold down RT first and then LT or vice versa?

Also, once you get in the post, can you let go of both triggers or do you have to keep holding both of them or just one?

Someone please help me out. This game is flawless to me except the post up game.

Once you get into a post position and are connected to the defending player, you can let go of the triggers.

You just hold the triggers down, there is no right way to go about doing it, and pressing one or the other first should not matter. You obviously have to be inside the 3-point line to actually post up, otherwise you will just protect the ball.

And, yes, unless you pass to a guy already in the post and connected to a defender, you're going to have to dribble to get into a post position.

anyone have any specific questions about my player mode?

i'm playing as a 6'6 SG for the timberwolves, went #18 overall in round 1 of the draft. got endorsed by jordan and got my 1st wall poster from them too.

also i have 15 of 40 of the jordans unlocked, rocking the aqua 8s the most since they add +5 shooting off the dribble or something around there

question and its a dumb one because I'm sure it has to have been asked by now but i haven't seen it yet. how many difficulty levels are there and what are they? I just see a lot of people saying that they play on pro/sim but I don't see anything about hall of fame. Again, I apologize about the dumb question. thanks

unknownforce, I have a few questions about My Player mode.

How difficult is it to get your player selected in the first round of the draft? How quickly did your first endorsement come? How long is your starting contract? And (I'm sure it'll be awhile into your game before you can answer this question), when you become a free agent, are you able to sign with any team you want, or only the teams that express interest?

just completed the jordan challenge and finally unlocked the jordan legendary mode. Drafted him at the lakers and Jordan starts at 79 overall with the young MJ look.

It's basically my player mode but you're playing as michael jordan.
