Thank you, Steve! That first link in particular is quite informative.
I wonder what 'had to be left out'? As to GT6, I'd hope they've already begun work on it given the cycle for 5. Perhaps with GT5's 'base' in place, it'd be a cycle of refinement and just getting in what had to be left out of 5, so maybe...two years?
Also of interest is the weather...and his admission that it might not be stable at 60fps ALL the time with a specific example of a start in the rain. They STILL have some time to get that kind of thing sorted out before gold.
Can't believe it's almost really here. There's a big part of me that still won't believe it until I've got it in my hands. lol
F1 2010 and Forza will keep me going til then.

I think if you read his quote carefully, it almost sounds like the work so far on GT6 has been mostly in the concepts for the next game department. I doubt there has been any actual programming time put in on it yet with the release date looming on GT5.

Beautiful. Looks awesome... just wish the damage models in the game were more robust...

^ Have you not seen the latest damage build? If not I advise you check it out, I'd say its pretty robust
GT5 looks absolutely breathtaking!
As mentioned before I wonder what it is they left out? It seems everything a racing fan can possibly want is in this game.
I'm not worried about the fps that won't be stable thing....GOW3 also didn't have constant 60fps and at times, according to the devs, it ranged between 60-45fps...and look how smooth that was!
Just one more week untill f1, which will keep me happy untill GT5!
Not to mention I'm getting NBA 2k11 as well, personally I think NBA 2k11 is going to be one of those rare games (NFL 2k5)
The end of 2010 looks awesome!
F1 2010
NBA 2k11
PES 11
to be capped of by game of the year: GT5
