I remember last year which was my first year playing FIFA, I was impressed with all the skills you could do with the analog sticks. This year, after seeing this video, I am in awe. Can't wait to try and pull these moves on my friends, lol.

How would these penalties work in a in an offline game against a friend?

I was actually referring to the first video. I hadn't seen the second video until you referred to it.

yeesh i can only remember like 2 advanced moves. Most the time i just randomly move the sticks and hope it works!

edit: that's b/c nothing does truly work for me. I guess it's me? In the arena mode my advance skills moves actually perform fine. Once I'm in a game, they rarely do what they're suppose to. From WC2010 and the demo

CPU-controlled Drogba tried (and missed) a chip shot during a penalty shootout today. I hope EA tweaks it so the CPU won't chip on PKs.

Yeah, CR7 tried this on me.

I've always sucked with the skill moves. I stopped trying after a while. Good stuff here though. Maybe I'll take some more practice time.

Anyone know if you can practice from the broadcast or tele views this year?

And the stick movements are relative to player direction, right?

I believe so (which I think is ******** and probably why some ppl aren't good w/ them). If you practice w/ the camera behind your player, the controls are as shows in the control help pages. But if you're playing on TV angle, they controls change...which is dumb and inconsistent.

I would love to be able to use the Tele cam in the arena - it would be a way to actually practice these skill moves. Like the above poster, if I get in a one on one situation, sometimes I try a few combinations of stick flicks but generally nothing happens and my player dribbles directly into the defender. I would LOVE to use some of those advanced moves....I feel like I know what I want my player to do but my brain doesn't transfer it to the thumbs

Guess it will be another year working it to the wings and swinging balls in the box and hopefully playing with teams that have fast wingers so I actually have a chance of beating people one on one.
