Another classic video from Czar, Sage and OS. Thanks, guys.

That Boston offense is legit. 2K got it right once again. Boston runs lots of off-ball screens to free-up their shooters. When their opponents choose to close out/double/switch to the shooter, there would always be an option to dump the ball to the screener. Hopefully, they get called for lots of illegal picks as well. lol

P.S. Small nitpick. Czar, as far as I know, KG is 6'11''.

Czar, question about Boston's plays.

Do they have a play wherein the PF and C give a parallel double screen for the ball handler? Please look at the 0:12 mark of the vid below. Thanks.

Man this was beautiful to watch, as were all your previous vids, big thanks Czar!!!

I love running plays, so I'm really hyped about this year's game. But as much as I love running 'em I'm even more stoked too see the CPU effectively run them as well. Celtics will be deadly..

Man oh man it's gonna be a great year! Graphics and animations are much improved, presentation will be top-notch as usual..

After watching Czar's vids I even forget that there's all this Jordan stuff too, haha..icing on the cake

I pray that the Pistons are featured in this. Virtually they have no true isolation player. Their playbook must be deep.

best background theme music ever! sounds like something straight out of the old school nba finals videos from the 90's

Man don't ever think that these vids aren't appreciated because these videos are what is holding my attention currently to this game more than anything else that is being put out, as we get closer to the official release; especially after the hollow, empty, and as you put it, weaksauce "demo" that was released (I can't even conjure up enough words to describe the "demo", but since its so barebones, I guess that's a fitting conclusion to it; not even worth leaving an actual impression to me.)

The more videos that I see showcasing the playbooks, the more apparent it is how team's have completely different philosophies. Boston offense, more than any other team that I've seen thus far, seems to be predicated on lots of ball movement (not including the iso's of course). One thing that I really liked about this video is how quick KG makes his moves, and decisions in the post; he's not a physically imposing guy, so its not like he's going to back a lot of opposing PF's under the basket for an easy two. He's going to do exactly what he's doing in this video, which is feel his opponent out on his back, and make quick finesse play.

The big 3 combined with Rondo's speed & play making ability, and the rest of the depth that Boston has, looks danger.
Thanks for the insight and videos again.

And thanks Czar

What is so intriguing this time is that good players seem to be actually used by their teams as they are in real life. From 2k9 I can tell how annoying it was to see Chris Paul throwing some Alley-oop pass every now and then but rarely driving, taking bad shots if any, ...
From the demo footage and Czar's videos it really looks like Rondo is doing what makes sense for him, directing the offense, mixing up the defense with his drives, getting to the foul line. I'm pretty optimistic that this will be the theme for important players this time which would bring them that much more to life and make the gameplay that much more authentic, fluid and varied.

Welcome to the OS ptcjohn316 and don't worry about it I used to do that all the time... LOL Hope you stick around man despite the occasional foolishness OS is still a place where intelligent and passionate discussion about basketball is the norm.

To everyone else Fam I really appreciate you stopping in and especially your appreciation of the effort. I am getting to to bottom of the barrel of my pre-captured footage so I won't be as through on the last five teams but I am going to try to give you an idea of their flavor..

But don't worry once I get the game I will be back with shorter less polished but more to the point information about the different teams and their sets and plays.

I haven't seen the Boston one yet but the Utah one was great! So many small nuances and how the defense reacted to the play was amazing!

It's interesting (and fun) that Da Czar, through these videos, has gotten people interest in running plays! And they're actually looking foward to running them!
It's amazing that one of the things people are complaining about in the demo is the unability to run plays! Had you, Da Czar, not made these videos I don't think people would be talking about it.

Anyway, this video was nice. Every team has their own specific style of play and great to see that 2k captured that. The part with Nate Robinson was hilarious though. That's exactly what he would do in real life..lol.
