Didn't know EA made basketball shoes.

They probably don't have the rights for under armour shoes

Wow, these are very surprising, I just hope that in-game when zoomed out to a gameplay Camera they still look good (because it doesn't look as good as this in the gameplay videos so far).

I also hope that the lo-res versions of the player models aren't used for zoomed out gameplay again (because on a HD TV it's very noticeable). For those who didn't notice last year, the game would switch to hi-res player models when the camera would cut in for a post play cut or cut scene but for gameplay, lo poly models were used (and obvious) during general gameplay.

But seriously, anyone saying these don't look great is just kidding themselves. Well done EA art team.

Might be the lack of direct capture.

The improved faces and the lighting stand out to me. However, I hope that the arenas that have brighter lighting in real life have it in the game.

Yes, I know but should the game look good during gameplay? I'm saying this because this goog looking pics shouldn't even matter if you play the game and it looks very bad.

# 11 ccoaxum @ 09/06/10 04:55 PM
i agree it should always look good regardless if its replay or not

Even when you look at the gameplay videos, the players look good when they aren't moving, or after a foul when they show the little closeup. But its like they turn down framerate or something during the actual game.
