The news is that they'll have fictional magazine covers, or possibly Sports Illustrated, to grace as your My Player character grows in notoriety. So, basically you're trying to surpass Jordan's off-court legacy or aura. It's a lot like Road to the Heisman mode in NCAA Football.
Including SLAM, HOOP or Sole Collector would make sense, if not now then in the future, since they're specific to the sport of basketball.

with the shoes, press conferences, magazine covers, etc. etc. this mode is officially SICK. Madden hasn't changed this much to their superstar mode and they've had it for YEARS, this is 2K's second year and they have put together a masterpiece. well done 2K, well done.

Not that exciting -- reminded me of NCAA Football. Should have shown this yesterday, press conference today. Was expecting something cool. Neat nonetheless.

NBA 2K Oh yes. We will have some new stuff to talk about today. Two new things, actually. Stay tuned. Props to all you 2K ballers for the great comments and suggestions. Keep 'em coming. It might be too late to add stuff to 2K11, but we are always eager to hear from our 2K family (you guys) about how we can keep pushing this game to be better and better every year.

Has anyone confirmed if we can select which jerseys are teams wear in MyPlayer this year? Like can we select from our Team's Alternates, or r we stuck with the default home/away ones like last year?
