Jerebko was sealed under the basket though, he has no position.

how come there isn't a call on prince?!?! even ray charles would see this.
hope that in the final bulid this kind of thing would be called for a foul.

I like the "randomness" of the play and i really think there will be the occasional wow moments in Elite this year but this game needs a LOT (ie 1 or 2 more years) more polish before it can compete imo.

Well that's in line with your original view of the game right you said it was going to be a good game with some visual flaws holding it back right?

Honestly its fine with me I liked the physical contact it wasn't perfect like "wow that's exactly what would happen!" But it did have some of that randomness of a real game.

I'm happy to see things like that are actually possible this year and I hope with the proper ratings the contact will look a little more realistic.

Every Elite collision animation has looked just a little off, so far. Obviously, they don't look organic yet, however, Connor did mention that the collision was generic. I'm wondering if there are "specific" collisions? If so, why does that happen with real physics?

I will withhold a final judgment until the demos for both games are released. As it stands right now, it looks like they are at least 2 years behind the other basketball game for polish, but about 1.5-2 years ahead under the hood. The clip looks good, overall.

But hey, Live 10 was the first EA B-ball I liked in 7-9 years.

Seriously, give EA engineers the respect they deserve and keep the topic about their product.

I'm a huge Hornets fan and I have a ton of respect for D. West ,but he has no lift.

But from my understanding these are clips with generic ratings. So player arent playing like themselves.

D. West can do a putback dunk..You people on here complain about everything...These game is showing more then the 2k series is showing; all they did was just add the Jordan moments..Is that it? R U kidding me!!

You guys should make sure unless the user has jumped into the way of the shooter or dunker that they dont get sucked into a canned-mation.
I can say with 100% certainty that there is no warping going on here in this video. Whoever was controlling Tayshaun would have pressed up on the right stick to leave the ground.

It was not a two player animation at all.

I have played the game a lot this year, and this is the first time I've seen two putback attempts in a row under the basket.

I'm glad Connor posted it it. Very cool to see.

Yeah, OK, I see it now. Not sure why I didn't pick up on it right away...

There definitely seems to be a gap between them when collision is detected. Not sure if the camera angle makes it look bigger than it is, but it is there.

I think I know what's causing that...not sure if it's been fixed or not but it is something that was discussed before I left and I'm pretty sure I know what needs to be done to fix it.

Thanks.

Unless you've played either game you're just talking out of the side of your neck

and please you guys keep the 2k talk out of this thread... its enough already

elite engine wasn't built from the ground up, it was build for live 10 with a newely built physics engine, same foundation of live 10

I was about to say that. There is only a handful of guys who can jump over a guys bac flat foot locate a ball a put it back. My problem isnt with what happens it's with who did it.

I feel the same. The in-air collision in that clip seems wrong. If Prince was a strong player, then it would make sense. But Okafor, being the bigger and stronger of the two with forward momentum, should have at least moved Prince a little bit.
