Cool. But what about the hopstep/dropstep/hopback? I guess I'm wondering if that got moved, or it's contextual (ie. if you're in between moves you just gather, if you're driving you hopstep)

I also heard the eurostep was added as a controllable move instead of just a layup animation for Ginobili/Paul/Parker/LeBron etc. but that was a while ago so maybe that was wrong or misleading.

Everything about this game looks amazing though. I'm about to sell 2K10 for random bar money just because I can barely take playing it after all the vids this week.

It's going to be hard getting use to the behind-the-back dribble without any triggers. I wonder how many times I will accidently do it? Thankfully it is still the same motion. I glad to see step-backs with a dribble will be more plentiful like 2k9.

The insight says that hop-step layups to either direction are done by holding the shot modifier and holding the shot stick left or right. You can also interrupt them (layup on the other side) if the defense dictates that by flicking it again.

in the insight is tells you that the euro step and hop steps are on the shot stick with the left trigger now and seems easier to pull off now, the step back is now left stick back and shoot which seems easier as well. This game is shaping up to be great

But anyways, 2K is really playing with my emotions this year!! LOL!! One day they show the AI doing wacky passes, and then they bring out a great Insight with trailer (like today).

This game will not be for the faint of heart as the learning curve will be steep to master all of these new controls; And I for one couldn't be happier.

Can't wait to take D Will to practice mode to achieve isomotion...lol

Which elite point guard will you guys be using to master isomotion?

Oh yeah. I misread the part when he was talking about how the user initiates different parts of the move. I thought he was only referring to Kobe's Reverse Pivot.

The players seem heavier in this video. It looks like momentum is taking place rather than it being somewhat twitchy.
