You know, reading that list makes me wonder if you can play full seasons with the old rosters/teams. The whole any game in 1990 against Atlanta thing.

Fatigue will probably be very important in that game. Possibly depleting very fast if u hold turbo down the whole game.

You can do either.

Fantastic! The thought of hitting that 6th three and getting the shrug animation just blew my mind haha. Hopefully the commentators will be aware of these situations with comments that mimic real life, "Did you see that look? Michael indicating... he can't believe it!".

Can.. not.. wait.

That's kinda included in this, isn't it?

Matt, I honestly think this entire mode was inspired from your videos. I can't wait to see what you do with 2K11 since we won't be forced to pretend a CAP is Jordan anymore.

No, this is The Shot.

There was a LOT of debate on which game to choose. In the end, we felt that we couldn't leave off MJ's career high... and that trying to reach 69 would be a more interesting achievement to try and hit for the user.

I understand. At least my Cavs are in, since I can use them in season mode, you just made this basketball fan from Cleveland very happy. You can tell which team I'll be using

A major challenge for 2K will be tuning the Bulls to play correctly when the User is playing as one of the other teams. Will Mike, be Mike, when the CPU is controlling him?

# 32 youvalss @ 07/22/10 07:45 PM
So, this probably means that 2K12 will have all the great teams from the past, I mean the ones from 2K11 and those that weren't included.

# 33 ShaneFu @ 07/22/10 09:39 PM
I wonder if there will be any game situation modes (ex. the Cleveland "shot" game, the length of the court dribble pull up jumper buzzer beater vs Atlanta)....there are so many ways they could go with this!!!

Correction to the article: The flu game was game 5, as far as I can remember. And the series ended in 6 games, not 7. WTF IGN? LOL
I feel you man I was hoping for the 1992 Knicks also, that series they had against the Bulls was crazy. Im also surprised one of the Pacers teams isn't in there. Hopefully with 2K share we can put them in there.

After all this news, I'm about to get in this and go to October 5, 2010. The rest of you who are going to wait until that day comes are suckers.

Anyone want a ride?

Hope not or else the game will become a dunk-fest. Jordan never did it in an actual game so he shouldn't do it in the virtual world either.

# 37 JohnDoh @ 07/23/10 09:11 AM
I hope this isn't all 2K has been working on all summer... although it appears to be the bulk of it. Pity.

# 38 SuperKyle @ 07/23/10 10:32 AM
One tidbit: The Flu Game was game 5 of the 1997 Finals vs. Utah. The Bulls won then clinched in game 6 in Chicago. Both Bulls-Jazz series went 6 games.

# 39 muse324 @ 07/23/10 12:25 PM
I hope they put Barkley in the game. As great as MJ was, no one had the skill set like Sir Charles. Especially at 6-4 playing power forward

Actually, it'd be cool if they threw the legends (with their retro uniforms and jersey numbers) into the dunk contest.

Then again, it'd also be nice if the dunk contest did not take place at a playground. It was nice to be different than Live at first, but now I think it's okay to replicate them, because the real dunk contest does take place at an NBA arena.
