Dump' N' Cheese: Shady Morals in EASHL

We have all come across the types of players and teams who will do anything to get a win in the EASHL. You know the ones, and shame on you if you are one of "them." Usually you can combat the teams using questionable tactics with good defense, but my team still tries to avoid these teams because defending against a certain shot all game is just not fun.

Recently I have noticed an uptick in the type of team that will play clean until it gets down on the scoreboard. Then, midway through the second period -- beginning of third at the latest -- out comes the bag of tricks. The teams who start playing fair, but then change their tactics once down a goal or two, perplex me? What are they trying to communicate with that kind of behavior?

"Oh, we're a clean team, but right now, we just need the ranking points more than our dignity."

They need to find a better way to punish win traders too... I'm tired of being on a winning streak with my team, and because we have too many dnf wins we stop receiving points... Great solution EA.

Actually, it does work, but what your whole team has to do is NEVER hit the A button at any time in the game to resume the game. In between faceoffs, intermissions, pauses...never.

I play on a legit team, widely recognized in the EASHL for our clean play, and we've been spreading the word as best we can to everyone. Never, ever hit A at any point in the game to skip through anything and you shouldn't get looped. Since we've learned this, we've only been looped once in about a month. The other night, we sat through 6 loop attempts over two games and didn't get looped any of those times.

ok thanks for clarifying. although I don't know whats worse, waiting through every pause and intermission...or getting glitched out of a win. hehe...we'll probably just accept losing our wins, its not that important I guess..

props on trying to keep EASHL clean though!

Once again a good read. This thread is a salvation. It gives you hope that non-glitching teams do exist.

And as you mentioned even some of the "top-teams" lose their moral when they're losing. It's no fun to be on a winning side when these "normally" non-glitching opponents get a glitch goal just before time runs out --> overtime.
