I liked the celebration, they added spotlights which is a nice touch.

The hitting continues to look awesome, it seems like we'll finally be able to make open ice hits feel like open ice hits.

Are there any hits that aren't gigantic bone crushing ones?

Love the addition of the spotlight.

I think they're just showing the stuff that really shows off this new engine. I really hope that's the case at least.

Spotlight on goal scorer = awesome.

I just hope they fix teammates during the celebrations, where they aren't just standing and raising their hands, as well as opposing guys not squatting over.

Hope everyone has enjoyed the clip. To be clear, every hit won't be big.The smaller hits where a player doesn't fall uses physics too.

awesome. Thanks Steve.

Sweet they finally got the all black full-cuff roll Warrior Franchise gloves

This will be the greatest sports game of all-time! That hit was flat out amazing!!! Not only did it use physics on the intitial collision, but when the player hit the ice and slid into the boards it used physics again upon impact.

Simply amazing!

I don't even follow hockey, but I will be buying this.

Didn't they have celebrations in NHL 2002 with the spot light as well. So basically they just implemented something that was already in the series. My favorite celebration from 2002 was "the worker", I am sure that was added in as well.

Also about the hitting, it would be nice if every bit of contact registered not just the clear cut big ones. I would hate to see the force fields again with the only change being the hits having more realistic outcomes.

This game is looking good

Yep, that hit looked great.

I'm very thankful that this real time physic engine was brought to the NHL game this year. It'll be interesting following it's progress, while the physic are being implemented over the next few years. Just glad their getting started this year.

It was a great looking hit. Rag-doll like as he went to the ice and into the boards. That would be nice is the re-implemented hits over the bench again, but that might be pushing it a little too far for them.

looks nice!

Are there still cutscenes after goals with teammates getting together. I really hope that was not taken out of the game, since that's what happens 99% of the time in a real NHL game.

I hope to god they fixed up the opposing players' reactions to getting scored on. I'm tired of seeing guys hunch over like senior citizens.

A five man hug has been spotted in one of the earlier vids.

That's good news. Best-case scenario...

You do you're user celebration and that leads into a five-man-hug. All done in real-time. As you are celebrating your teammates are closing in on you, instead of standing around raising their hands.
