Really? That's be sweet if it is, but I'm sure there's still two different damage models depending on the car.

I think this also....the video I saw they were tight lipped about damage, so it does seem that there will be restrictions on damage based upon the car maker.

Agreed, this game and The Show are defining franchises to me for the PlayStation brand. They are the very games that get me to buy every iteration and come back for more.

Of course GoW series, Team ICO, and others are not too shabby either!

Thanks for the post Steve, I want the Collectors for this so bad, I cant wait to get this and a nice Logitech wheel.

I love OS, but if you guys want to know what's going on with GT5, go to GT Planet... http://www.gtplanet.net/

If something is known about GT5, you will easily find it there. No reason to speculate here. Just read through all the news stories since E3 and you will know all there is to know right now about the game. Though even here, there's a lot of unanswered stuff. The devs just aren't giving it up. That being said, the game is still over 3 months away and we have a lot of info at this point in time compared to most other games that are still that far away.

Definitely a great site. Have them subscribed for videos on YouTube. I have my Collector's pre-ordered on Amazon and used the $20 off I got from getting RDR. Now to get a wheel when this drops!

Kind of OT, but do you have a wheel in mind already or are you still trying to sort out which one is best? I'm not a hardcore racing guy and have never had a wheel before but would like to pick one up for GT5.

I am in the process of deciding between the Logitech ones. They seem to be the best all around for your money, and work with the PC flawlessly as well. Amazon usually sells them cheaper than list, as well as newegg.com. I expect them to have specials on them when the game ships. They usually do.

Here is a good wiki for the wheels.

It is either the GT or G27 I will decide on, more than likely the G27 when I see it dip below $200 like it sometimes does on Amazon.
